i used to play at lexulous quite often before as i got a nice and speedy internet connection. that was last year and i have never played anyone this year.... don't even know if that site still exist. when i first saw the site, the name of the site was scrabulous. i was once an addict player and i always love to play when my boss is away.. i have learned a lot of new vocabularies there including loaned words.. it is really amazing.. words that cannot be found to any english dictionaries are being accepted.. lol and i remembered one - the word, UMIAQS.

Yes, that's right. Scrabble complained so Scrabulous became Lexulous and yes, it still exists, I play it!

I got hooked on Scrabble as a youth anyway but I found Scrabble on Pogo.com and was addicted for months!!! it's still one of my favorite games regardless. In fact I got Scrabble in the house right now. Did you know xu was a word? Or zloty? Or qaid? Oh man Give me the "q" and the "Z" right now, I'll get 100 points!!! Lol...

I haven't tried playing Scrabble Online or even in Facebook. But I always enjoyed playing the real board game at home with my mom and sis. Well the real board game takes too much time to play, that's why I'm worried that if I play Scrabble online, the playing time will be longer. I don't really like playing time-consuming games online.

Hi Carylyn, With the online one that I play you take your tunrs as and when you are online you don't have to sit and take your turn immedietely. I play against my neighbour a lot and we have several games on the go at once and she will say I have taken my turns hurry up and take yours lol. If I am going away their is a chat box so I will just say so. I have the scrabble tab open at the same time as typing here so I will take a turn, come back respond, take a turn come back respond. Huggles. Ellie :D

hi ellie I love to play scrabble but have never played it online. that sounds like fun. we used to have a class here called mental fitness that helps older people to keep their brains active. we played scrabble a lot but the funding for the program came from the Garden Grove school district and they were cut back a few million so of course elderly peoples interests were the first to go bye bye. Also a lot of those who really could have benefited from the class were too lazy to come to it.I
also love to play solitaire.

I prefer to play in real life as I have found that some players cheat online using sites that will provide you with words using the letters you have. Do you play this game while spending time here or just on its own?

Me! Me! Me! I love playing Scrabble...it seems to be easier online....in real takes a lot of time. But if it wasn't for the kids distracting me, I would love to play it in real too. In fact, it's been quite a while since I played the standard board game (my son just said he wanted to play...so maybe today I will :P). But I play the application on Facebook quite often.

Hi Sviswan, I have about 16 games on the go right now and am flitting from this tab at myLot to my scrabble turns, what is great is that you can play your turn as and when, havemore than one game going at a time with the same person and helps keep the brain active. I have a Junior Scrabble board game for my son and we have the adult version too but I must admit we rarely get the board out, tend to play boggle more as it is quicker. Who knows we may even play each other as Ido play against a Susan lol. Huggles. Ellie :D

Thanks for the BR!
lol...we might....but the 'S' in my name isn't a 'Susan'..it's 'Sandhya'.
16 games??? wow!!!
At the moment I'm playing one with a friend of mine from school...we log in at different times..so it's been going on for a couple of days now.
But if ever you do see me online (I hardly ever initiate a game), I'd love to play a game with you:)

The only scrabble I've seen on facebook involves having an iphone. I play cube crash, bricks breaking, word stone and farmville.
I'd play scrabble against a computer but not a real person.

Bothe the board fgame and online are good. Beachstarz, you don't have to download as it is an application on Facebook and you just take your turns as and when. This morning as I have a few games on the go I logged in and I had 12 turns to take, so I have this tab open, scrabble and my email and am flitting betqween the three of them Huggles. Ellie :D

I love Scrabble in all its forms! These days, I mainly play it online, I play Lexulous over at Facebook. But when I was younger, I used to go to my Nanna's house for school holidays while my parents were working and I always played Scrabble with my Nanna, so I have lots of nice memories of those times.

Hi Karen, I have not seen Lexulous on Facebook but do like the Scrabble there as I can takemy turns as and when I choose. We also have the board game and one called Boggle too which a a fun word game where you shake the box and rearrange the letters and try and get as many three letter words or more from them, helps the kids learn doesn't it. Huggles. Ellie :D

I think all these kinds of games are great as they make you think and use your language, so they keep your brain active and working!

yes like you play scrabble on line from face book just some days have problems loading the game grrr... which is most frustrating when you know you just about to win., i keep it with friends mainly, as when payed the random games found that their are "players" who seem to eat dictionaries for breakfast..or that's perhaps why they take so long in their turns ha ha... but like the fun and friends that take it as fun.. also back to playing Fairyland on fb., so growing a nice arden and finding little critters everywhere ha ha
have also played lexus but oh no bad news found tetrus.., and having now worked out the controls (that took a few games to master., well ok more than a few ) have to monitor my time on there.. like 5 games and no more otherwise just stick to it.. oh and still do scramble on fb too., that is the one that is most addictive for me., as no one can see how bad i do ha ha
keep up the good words
best wishes

Hi Artizan, I find scrabble takes longer to load so I open up another tab and playe bejewelled blitx whilst waiting but it is a problem to load at times. All these games though are so addictive. I play against two that I think cheat as they comeup with words I have never heard of and always beat me, thinking next time I may say to to a repeat play, one went offline for days sulking because I beat her without cheating, how sad is that lol. huggles xxx

We used to play scrabble when I was a kid. Its one of my family's bonding activity. I don't play scrabble online. I think its too time consuming. I rather play poker online.
