how to enable recovery console in windows xp? / myLot

i want know how to enable recovery console in windows xp. recently my system some files missing that why i want to repair xp using recovery console.

recover console is enable on windows Xp by turning on restore function for all the partitions. through system properties.

I guess you can try System restore if your able to boot your computer or try god know configuration .. Forgive me if a wrong :)
