as far as my opionion its not good to tell personal problems to a friend because they can misuse it and can become a laughing matter for others.so its better to discuss with ur family members and try to get a solution for it or else try to get urself solved.

I am agree with you. I also think that all of personal problem are teel to a friends is not good. Every friend not a real friend. So if you tell any of personal problem to friend that make sure that he is a real friend for you. But i hope if u dont tell anything of your family matter to a friend is better........

Sometimes I feel comfortable sharing with friends, but it doesn`t mean that I don`t want to share with my mom. If we share with friends-of course, they must be the one we trust-we feel like relief, because they can listen and they won`t judge or conclude easily. For some cases, I discuss with parents, but they let me decide what I want.

I think it depends on the problem if it is a problem with the family sometimes it is better to talk to friends about it as they are not directly involved and give a outsiders view on it. I find it easier to talk to my friends who i trust about personal problems instead of family as i feel that they are more understanding than some of my family.

there were problems that can be shared only to friends and some to family only. When I share problems to my friend they always see to it that they will help me out and not use it for laughing matters but sometimes I do think of that sometime specially if they were not my close friends. When I'm having problem to my family like the fighting of my parents, I share it to my friends and also problems like my parents disagreeing with my plans. I'm sure that my friend would do their best to help out. When I'm having problems in my love-life or school matters I share it to my family

I find it easier to talk to a friend over family... I always have done, but I think for me it is because I feel I can talk to friends easier, and without judgement. Sometimes with my family as much as I love them and do tell them certain things, sometimes, they can judge, or just ask so many questions etc, I just get stressed out, so its always been friends for me, and now here on my lot... because I get good feedback from people, and they help out a lot with things going on with me, and above all all the advice given is totally without bias.
