Do you tell a lie with your parents?

No matter what it is or how hurt my parents will be i never lie to them as when they find out you have lied to them they feel you do not trust them and you end up hurting them alot.

Often. LOL :D You know what, Lying is nature to us, People. As a human being, we can commit Sin, its our nature though. But not abusing it or using it always against your parents or unto others. Me, i would never deny it, i always lied to my parents especially when i want something that i know they won't give it to me. Nobody is perfect, right ? So how can we tell that We never LIED, or we never do something FOOLISH against our parents ? Its normal to lie though, but what's not normal is to LIE, just to do something foolish.

With my mother, I do my best to not lie to her, but with my step-father, I feel like I always have to lie to him because he is a person who literally cannot handle the truth.

I try to be as honest as I can to my mother because I know she loves me very much. She's always so considerate that it makes me feel really guilty whenever I lie to her. Still, even though I try not to, I still tell lies to her sometimes. Like one time, I wanted to sleep over at a friend's house and she won't let me because my friend has a brother and a father and she didn't want me in the same house with strange men. I thought this was unreasonable was I was already 18 and she lets my 13 year old brother sleep over at his friends' houses all the time. So I told her my friend's family was on vacation and only her grandmother was home so she would let me sleep over. I wish I didn't have to lie about it.

That was before but when I noticed that it is big sin from GOD I stop it now.

Hi dreamsharmin, Yes, I lie to my parents. I don't want them so worried me. They give me life, they arise me from a baby to now. Now I am a big girl, I can deal with something to decrease their worry. All the best.

Hi, Of course, Yes... I do lie to my parents sometime but only something that I dont want them worry about too... it is hard to tell them the truth sometime cuz they dont think the way I think... so if they are happy then Im good to go :)

I am not a perfect person I also lie and it happens that I lie to them about different things,it is always to save myself and not to hurt them too, I do not like to hurt someone just because of a lie.

Oh yeah! I mean i don't like doing this but sometimes things gets screwed up.Generally,i preffer speaking truth,because speaking one lie act as initiator for many other lies.But sometimes speaking truth makes situation worse.

Hi dream sharmin: I have done it before in some cases. But it breaks my heart to do this. I would only tell my father or mother a lie if I know that I would hurt them if they knoe the truth and if it's not necessary that they know the truth. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO.

In every comment i do in mylot i try to be as honest as i can be , so when you ask me bout lying to my parents specifically to my mother because my dad is long gone already i have to say i do. Not once not even twice i regularly lie to her and dont get me wrong its not that i dont love her or care about her at all, its just that there are times that i need to keep some information from her so that she wont worry that much anymore. I know its bad to lie to just bout anybody but the thing is in my situation its pretty hard to not to lie to her, her condition is very delicate if i just let her know everything thats going on then it might give her some complications that in the end i will regret if i will tell her just bout anything. Im just doing this white lies to her to save her the bad things in life that i dont want her to know or to feel

Even though I don't really like making a lie to my parents I somehow did that thing. I sometimes tell some white lies well, I don't have the intention or the happiness to lie but sometimes, they were so protective that I sometimes need to lie to them so that they won't think about it that much. Recently, I applied for a one year OJT but my father don't want me to take and he want it to be 6 months only but I did lied to him when I said it will only be for 6 months.

I speak many times with my father and all my words most of time lie. But its not about hide any truth from him, Its a funny lie. for example i got job, i got 89% in exam(i never can :D ). So truth i am not speaking lie in wrong way but always in truth way. Because i never get necessary to speak lie with my father.
