Im trying to find some place on the internet or someone who knows Sankrit and Gujarati language and script to teach me or I can teach myself for free. Its just something that Im interested in doing because its kind of like a hobby, I only currently know English though. I haven't really gotten into those languages yet so I guess im a beginner. I found some sights with free books in those to languages, but they dont teach the language. Any suggestions would be helpful. I also am interested in the languages that you all know or are curious in learning and why.

well, there is no proper use of learning SANSKRIT today, other than to enjoy the old plays and works of KALIDASA, and others .. or read the epics. and, if you want to learn and teach yourself for free... there are many websites that are offering the services. please search .. by the way, .. why are you so curious of learning languages.. I would not find that amusing, when the next time you call me something in a foreign language. ---same would be the case with all your friends.

good luck to you on that too. but, please publish the dictionary first. I remember, it was you .. who said once that some bothering word is not in your dictionary. ... you will have to be careful about that.

There is a lot of language tutorial videos on youtube.. I learned Hindu chants of many types through youtube videos.. Which is Sanskrit.. The best way is to make friends with people who speak languages and practice with eachother.

friend, there is none today, including the religiously bent and the hindu fanatics, who are using sanskrit as a language of communication. .. so, there is no point in learning to speak in that language. It is surely the LANGUAGE of GODS .. and, better left to them now. however, your suggestion is wonderful.

It takes foreigners interest to revive a native tongue, I plan on making a blog on Sanskrit and other ancient languages, working with native speakers if possible in reviving them. Also to use in books that I want to write and movie scripts and I will not stop until I succeed. I agree that the best way is to make friends that speak the language and practice with each other.
