When woman gets pregnant there are many changes that takes place on her body. Her hips widened, belly becomes bigger, varicose veins becomes more apparent. With these, she needs to dressed according to her condition, but what if she dont like to wear leggings and other maternity dressess, instead she stick to denim jeans? Is it alright for her to put on that kind of wardrobe? Does it affects the child inside her womb? If so, what is the appropriate clothes for her?

As long as the clothes are not too tight/restrictive, any clothing would be fine as long as you are comfortable with it. I was wearing jeans and t-shirts until about 4 - 5 months until I changed to looser shirts/blouses and maternity pants/leggings afterwards because I eventually had a hard time breathing. Also, make sure that you wear proper footwear during your pregnancy. The keyword here is COMFORT :)

with regards to footwear, does a two inches high-heels alright for a preggy mom?..

When I was pregnant, I always wore rubber shoes. But in general, if it is early on during the pregnancy phase, it should be ok. But as you progress in your pregnancy, given that ones center of gravity changes, it is best to decrease your heel height. With the changes in your body, i.e. weight gain, this could cause imbalance. Wearing high heels might contribute more to this. Also, wearing high heels can increase the tension in your back given already the extra weight you are already carrying in your tummy.

That would depend on how big she gets. I wore my normal clothes almost all through my pregnancy, because I hardly put on any weight and was thin in the first place. When I got to about 8 months, I only wore clothes with elasticated waists as I couldn't do up anything with buttons and zips. I don't think there's any reason to wear special maternity clothes, elasticated clothes are just as good.

A pregant woman should wear clothes that are not restrictive at all. Wearing your regular jeans might be OK up until your 4th month but after that it is wise to get some pants thar are specifically made for pregant women or at least some really stretch sweat pants. If a woman wants to look fashionable during pregnancy that is fine and there are a lot of great looking maternity clothes these days. Women should really stick to those. It might not harm the baby if the clothing is too tight but it could have negative affects on the mom's body which can carry over to the baby. I think pregnant woman should really strive for comfort especially in the last tri-mester where just being pregnant is very uncomfortable.

There are maternity jeans. A pregnant woman should wear whatever clothing in which she is comfortable. I, for one, would draw the line at a string bikini, though. I don't think that would be a pretty sight. When I was pregnant with our first child, I frequently wore my husband's jeans at home. I finally got too big for them, too, even though I left them unzipped and fastened the waistband with a rubber band.

I as her husband did not agree when my wife was pregnant wearing apparel and other clothing jean tight, I'm afraid it will affect your baby's health is in the stomach. I will advise my wife to always wear baggy clothes when she was pregnant.

That is a misguided view. Whatever is comfortable is always recommended by the doctor. Remember that the baby is inside, protected by her body. The only reason not to wear tight clothes is if they feel uncomfortable for the pregnant lady.

I dont think there is a dress code for pregnant women, anything they're comfortable with should be fine. Im saying this from experience, when my wife was pregnant, she didnt add that much weight so she actually wore the same clothes for almost the entire length of her pregnancy, she only had to buy bigger pants when she was 8 -9 months already. With regards to denim jeans, she only wore it until about halfway during her pregnancy, she said that it was not very comfortable anymore so she usually uses either jogging pants or leggings. We consulted her doctor regarding that and the general advise was not to wear too tight of a clothing..

ah I c!..I am enlighten on the experience of your wife. It helps me think wisely that pregnant woman should give more concern to her baby rather than for heself.Thank you.

Seriously? Ofcourse they way a woman dresses does not affect the child. 1 I've had two kids and I would always wear whatever was comfortable for me, and yes that includes jeans and who knows what.

I think pregnant women should wear maternity clothes, I think clothes that shows the belly, like small tops and things like that are not cute. A pregnant women can still dress nicely, just buy some maternity clothes, there are beautiful clothes for pregnant women.

I loved to wear things that showed my belly, I was proud of it and everyone could see that. I do think it depends on where you're from, here it's normal to show off with your pregnant body.

I think anything that won't strain her tummy will be good for her stomach.I've seen some maternity dresses that are cute and doesn't really look like maternity dresses.I believe it's ok to wear denims as long as they hit below the hips.also, the jeans should give the pregnant woman enough breathing space, meaning it is not too tight at hips.I don't know any complications if you wear tight clothes while pregnant.

I think pregnant women should wear whatever makes them feel comfortable. Pregannt women's bodies go through a lot of changes. Size and weight increases can definitely take a bit out of a pregnant woman's wardrobe. I say let her wear what makes her happy. Be realistic too. Don't wear something too tight. You could risk your child's life by doing that. Use common sense and style together. It will give you a happier pregnancy.

Hi there! for me, preggy women should wear any clothes that make them feel comfortable. Try to think about your baby's comfort inside your womb. A tight fitting jeans was not appropriate about her present condition because pregnant women can't move as fast as person who doesn't have a baby inside her. Im not a doctor and all i know is that, something alive should not be suppressed or put into something that he cannot breath comfortably for all living things needs air in order to live. Got what i mean? Have a nice weekend!

Oh! I think there no dress cot for the pregnant women.pregnant women should not depend on the dress cot what ever they like they are most well come to wear.as we know that pregnant women body are different in size according to the body we should wear comfortable dress. Most f the pregnant womem like loose elastic dress which is very much helpful to them as not harm for the baby inside.
