I have dreamed of two people in my family. My mom and my 1st cousin. Does this mean something? I have dreamed about living people that are still alive till this very day. But when I dream about a dead person that is already dead, does this mean that they are trying to somehow communicate with me in my dream?? When I wake up, I am very scared because if someone is dead and I am dreaming about them, then it has to have an significant meaning of some sort. What do you believe? Have you dreamed about someone that is already dead? It can be anyone that you have dreamed about.

I have dreams about people that are already gone all the time. I mostly dream about my grandparents, they raised me from a little girl, so when I dream its always at the old house, and they're both there. I don't think there's any significant meaning, I think its because I probably thought about them sometime during the day or before I went to sleep, or we may have talked about them, and they're still on my conscience, so my brain dreams about them. They're always pleasant tho, but it makes me miss them more.

I dreamed alot before when I was in my parents in-law house. I don't know why? I dream my mom who passed 2 years ago and I saw her alive. I am very happy everytime I dreamed her. I love her most, I missed her always, maybe this is the reason she always come into my mind during I am sleep. I am not scared because she is my mom.

That has happened to me several times. Many of the people I have met in my dreams I've found out to be people who have passed away many years ago. The only one that I recognized personally was my cousin. I don't think they want my help because they usually only show up once. Like my cousin when I was very depressed showed up to me and after that I felt a lot better and stronger.

my professor said that dreams are really just the workings of our subconscious. we can't really take them too seriously, our subconscious tends to unearth memories and muddle them with our present situationd. i've dreamt countless times of my grandfather who passed away ten years ago, i just like to think that he came up in my dreams because i miss him at times.

I used to dream about my dad and my grandma. Sometimes it may mean they are trying to communicate with you. Just to let you know they are alright. That they are in a good place.

In recent months, I have dreamed a few times about my ex-boss. I haven't seen him in a long time - in fact I visited him only once when my daughter was very little (about 5 years ago). Then I heard he had pancreatic cancer - on and off he was doing better, according to his wife. I've always been meaning to visit him - but it's just one of those things I put off. Then early last year I heard he had passed away - it was a shock. And then I went on a guilt trip for not going to visit him or really contacting him while he was still alive. I think my dreams stem from this strong feeling of guilt.
I think dreams are something our minds conjure up . . . as a mish mosh of images and emotions. I don't know about a "meaning", but I do think it tells us something about ourselves . . . our fears, insecurities, thoughts, etc. I don't think my boss was trying to communicate with me from the "next world", but I do think my dream about him was my internal self trying to cope with not having seen him one last time.
