Arnel Pined: No Longer The Vocalist of Jouney?

as the saying goes good or bad publicity is still publicity. people will turn their heads more when it is bad publicity. i guess they get this when they see arnel more on philippine shows so they wonder that he no longer is the vocalist of journey. arnel is one very humble person, in my opinion. even he is a big star, journey vocalist he still spend his free time here at the Philippines and sing with the filipinos so we wont have to be just going to you tibe to see what he does with journey. we have our chance to watch him to listen without paying the high price that fans pay for to watch a journey concert. in or out of journey still arnel pineda achieved something they can never even try even in their dreams. proud to be a pinoy seeing him with journey.

That's a shocking news but still it's not true, there are people who try to make false stories.

The title of the news is "Arnel: I'm still with Journey" So I guess he is still a member of that famous band and no one is trying to remove him from there. Well I guess these are just one of the block propaganda against him. We should ignore that.

i think it's because most fans are looking forward to Jovit Baldivino replacing him in the band. it's sad but filipinos are like that. they can't seem to be happy for one fellow countryman, they got to bring one down whenever possible. him being part of The Journey is already our pride, the 16-year old exemplary PGT winner is another thing. i seriously think people should stop taking away the light from arnel and at the same time refrain from making jovit a shadow. because the kid is talented enough to make HIS OWN name. period.

Hi July, I feel bad when i heard about this news. Good that an interview was made with Arnel Pineda. He denied the news about him being out of the band. I was relieved upon hearing the good news. It's only Arnel or his manager has the right to announce if he's out if this thing happen.

don't worry, there is karma to hunt those people.

Hmmm.. I think the band Journey treasures Arnel a lot because with him, they are on the mainstream again. And I don't think they would ever let Arnel go unless the problem is Arnel himself. There have been a lot of speculations already relating to this news. But the good news is, Arnel always acknowledge the issue and confirms it with the press if the said rumors are true or not. So to all Arnel fans - he's still with the Journey. You can all breathe now. ;)

hi julyteen as far as I know he is still the vocalist of Journey. I think the story was a hoax but it was very unkind and those who did that should be ashamed.I only heard him once but was really pleased with his sound and voice. And I am not all that into Journey myself but I think he is truly talented.

Yeah julyteen, this is just so sad, making false stories and spreading it out just to have something to talked about. But what can I say "tsismis" is just so rampant here in our country it became a hobby for most of us Filipinos. This is so depressing . :(

well for one thing is certain, there will be a time when he will not be the vocalist. well i have also heard of that rumor but its good that im not really a fan of arnel pineda.

I would like to translate into English the term for people who love to make gossip and intrigues--they are said to be people who have "hairy tongues." In another part of the country, they are dubbed as people with "itchy tongues". Rumor-mongering and gossiping make their days complete. Their tongues would itch if they could not make juicy gossips that hurt other people. This is an offshoot of the so-called "crab mentality" that some people are so known for. If someone is said to be doing well and showing signs of success, the "crabs" will start fabricating nasty stories about the person to bring him or her down. This bad trait is said to be very common among Pinoys and I just hope we overcome this kind of mentality so that we will be able to see improvement in this country.

Very bad trait of Filipinos: CRAB MENTALITY! I hope this attitude will die someday!
