Do you have any brothers and sisters? If so, what do you like best about them? What do you like least? If you don't have any siblings, what do you imagine would be the best thing about having siblings? The worst thing? Do you have extended family? If so, do they live close to you or far away? How often do you see them? What's the best time you ever spent with them?
I have five brothers and sisters 3 brothers (1 of whom I never met), and I think 2 sisters. I say I think, because my mother and the rest of my family is in Panama, and I haven't been there or had any contact with them since I was 17. (I'm 36). I would like to come in contact with them again, but if you met them, you would understand why I don't want to.... All of them only contact people out of interest, something that makes me very sad........They think that just because I am in the USA, I've got money and power. The truth is, I don't. I'm jobless. I've told them that, but they just won't listen; if they could come here and see my life, I know they wouldn't want to have anything more to do with me... I know, it's pathetic. So I just don;t have any contact with them.
I've got 3 kids. Sometimes, they fight, but I'm strongly against the whole shut up thing.. they're family, and shouldn't be doing that Eventually, when they get older, it'll cost rifts in all of our relationships. I always encourage them to stick together, no matter what, even if I'm not here anymore. And that's something I'm dead serious about, because look what happened to me. I don't even know how many brothers and sisters I have..... I just want them to never know what it is to be separated from their own family.
I've got extended family, people I've known since I first got to the USA. To this day, I call them Mom, brother, sister...... Even my kids spend the night at their house! We really are close, they've always been there for me, throughout all my life's problems. We don;t even share the same blood line, but our love for each other is closer than that. Much closer than that.............................

Thats to bad that you do not have a close relationship with your birthfamily,I too am not real close with my family but at least I do see them and talk to them sometimes. I have one half sister that was born and gave up for adoption two years before I was born, I just found out about her about a year ago and trying to decide my options on finding her. I have a half brother who is 5 years younger and me and we talk the most of all my siblings, but our relationship is real strained as his real dad is my stepdad that molested me so we have that huge issue hanging over our heads. I also have another half brother who I only get to see maybe ever couple of years and his full sister(my half sister) who I get to see about once a year. I think I am closer to her of them all and I wish we all really had a closer relationship and hopefully one day we will. I envy people I see who are close with their brother and sisters as I always wanted that for us. Best of luck to you and your family.

I have a younger brother that I grew up with. Now we live in separate cities because we are in college but I consider us to be very close. We are not close in the way that we are best friends but we get along in a love-hate way. We see each other every week while we are in school but now that it is summer break, we see each other everyday. My friend has a brother who lives in another country and only sees in once a year but they are also very close since they always write to each other.

Yes I also have a brother and he was older than me.You know what? I am really hoping the I don't have any brother because he always hurts my mom's feelings and now he already have a son in the age of 19..But I am also hoping that someday he would totally change.

Hello there! We're all three in the family, ive got one sister who is the eldest, second is my brother and me the youngest among three. We've got no parents anymore, they've already gone, may God bless their souls.
I have a wonderful sister and brother, they were so kind to me that i never remembered that we have a fight ever since. My sister was very generous, kind, understanding, helpful and everything that anyone could ever wish for a sister to have. I am lucky to have her as our eldest because she was able to play the role of a good sister. My brother likewise was good as well, he is there for me all the time also its just that he lives far from us now because she married a girl from Bicol and were from manila. I feel so lucky having a siblings like them, i hope that God will bless us all with good life, health, and good family life. Good luck!

I have 2 brothers and a sister. I'm the oldest. The brother next to me is currently in training to be a police officer someday. He's the one who gave our parents the most headaches because of his friends and his vices like smoking and drinking. But thank God he was able to changed in time. Next to him is my sister. Still in college. 2 years more to go before she graduated. She's the only girl so she's somewhat the most annoying when she rants or throw a tantrum when she was young. Its annoying because for sure our parents will give her what she wanted. She's the class valedictorian during grade school and high school. But I don't think she's the smartest. I'm still smarter than her. And our youngest is still in High School. I'm 12 years older than him. Really huge gap if you ask me. But he's the baby in our family and the most annoying in all of my siblings. What I like about him is he's always cheerful no matter what and he always obey me whenever I have something I want him to do. These are my siblings. We have differences and we sometimes fight but I love them all.

I am very fortunate that God gave me a wonderful family and we really have close relationship ties and bonding..I am brought up with twin sisters and I'm hapy to say that they are very loving, supportive in all of my endeavors and caring.. I am the eldest and being in such position, they treat me with great respect.. I really love them and they're very precious to me..I never thought that life wwould be this great if I didn't have them as my sisters but if I am given the life without them, I would see it as all of my parents' attention and love would be conferred to me..but despite that, there's still something incomplete for everything in life is better when it's shared by two people giving love, care and support with each other so I'm very blessed that God gave me them and I would forever cherish such gifts..

I have 2 sister and the eldest is already married while I only have 1 brother. Me and my sister live with my parents while my brother work in other country. I have no extended family since they are not likely applicable and it is more expensive to have an extension. Most like to be independent and like to maintain their privacy. I do hope you come close again with your sibling they are your own blood line after all should be more closer than anyone else. It is just a matter of good communication and explanation so they would understand your real situation.

I have one brother. he and me used to do everything together when it came to playing and of course going to school together as we are only 15 months apart in age. He would sit through my dance recitals even if he did fall asleep he was still there.
Now i havent talked to my brother in over a year as we got married two years ago and that was the last i heard from him. She doesn't like our family very much at all as she says we are spoiled and all this and that and i feel bad for them because if they ever needed something they would go to their neighbors or her parents i guess. I don't think her family has much money at all and as she knows my family is quit wealthy and well known in the town and maybe she just didn't like that at all. I have talked to her as i ran into her out in the town which i wish i would have never done as she was talking bad about my mom in a very bad way. Bad thing is, is that my brother never calls my parents on their birthdays or any holidays at all.

I am the eldest of four children. i am grateful every day for my siblings. I talk with them often. i am closest to my sister, She is the youngest. There are 10 years between us but I consider my sister to be my best friend. I didn't always get along with my two brothers growing up. Now are older and wider. I appreciate my siblings now more than ever.
