Hi,
I've been with my partner for almost 5 years now. He snores a lot, but since I've been with him quite long time now, it doesn't bother my sleep in the night anymore. But if I happen to be awake or doing something else while he is sleeping and snoring...I usually will pay a close attention to the rhythm of his snore, and I found myself laughing most of the time :) Entertaining haha! But, when we are riding a bus, or waiting for our flight or in the flight, he surely and guaranteed will sleep on my shoulder or on my lap. It usually doesn't take a long time for him to start snoring, and time by time, it will gets louder and louder. So it usually gives me a lot of work because people around will start looking at me and giving me a body language that saying it's disturbing..
What I usually do then is to keep moving his head while being careful not to wake him up. I do love him, and I really really do love him.
Does anybody else having the same situation, some tips would be very appreciated. I don't think complaining to my partner is right because nobody knows how their body behaves when we are sleeping....it's completely out of control, but I'm sure there are tips that we can use to stop it or lessen it. What do you think guys?

well people usually snore on their backs while sleeping so you could try telling your partner to lay on his side to sleep, or you can buy these strips that go over the bridge of your nose to open the nostrils thus letting more air in, in other cases this can lead to medical problems so try these options if they dont work call your local doctor for advice xxx

I do manage to get him to sleep on his side most of the time, but it won't last long. It will only be for about 1 or 2 minutes :-)
I do know about those strips and I'm really thinking about getting him to try it soon. Thank you for your response, take care

Both my partner and I snore! Although, I'd have to say, my boyfriend snores a lot louder, people next door probably hear him too. Haha :) We've tried so many things already but nothing has worked. I think that for us, the only time we haven't tried is losing weight. That one is bound to work :)

lol i have the same situation here for 3years....and yeah doesnt really bother me at all...but the problem is i cant really sleep...
I told him that hes snoring a lot...and i even told him that when you snore a lot maybe there is some problem in your heart... I even told him i couldnt sleep... (yeah i know i am so mean) then he told me he will try not to snore, but when he fall asleep its still the same..
So heres how i deal with it.... everytime he will snore really loud..i put my hand on his chest and rub it gently.... (yeah i know it makes him awake) but now he get used to it... and i just do it again and again... but it doesnt really makes him stop snoring..lol
but it gives you time to sleep first before he start snoring again:P
so hopes this one help..lol

Oh, that was a cool one. I thought by you rubbing his chest over and over again was going to stop his snore hehe. But who knows anyway, it may works with other people, so I'm also happy to try ...:)
