When I was a little kid,I never intended to get to know about myself.It was I was busy to get to know the world around me.When I became a teenages,I started to realize that I didn't really know what I wanted but just got emotional quite easily.Whe I am became an adult.I was busy to get know things about my job and my next half.Whe I try to get to know about myself,it was just getting a little beat too late sicne I am not young anymore.Well,perhaps you can do better than mine.Share with us and let see what you have for this topic.

When I was young I wanted to become a singer. I had good voice.....then wanted to become a doctor. I was influenced by famous people and wanted to be like them. But I became serious when I graduated and entered into a job. I met 'real'people . I got to know more about myself, my strength and weknesses etc...Now I am a mother of 2 and getting to know more about my motherhood day in and day out.

Though there are still times of doubt, I can say that I know myself, or at least a substantial part of it. I am someone who always wants the best for her family, and who will do anything to protect the people she loves. I am driven by my ambitions. I always want to be on top, but without stepping on anyone. I love God and I am trying to be the best person that I can be. I am a future lawyer, and a singer by heart.
Everything I said is just on the surface. There's a lot more about me than I can ever tell anyone.

Well,thank you for your sharing .At least you let us know about the surface of yours.I hope you can be a good lawyer in the future and always willing to help the good guys and against the bad guys.We do need someone who can really enforce the law and maintain a society of rightousness.Although you will make lots of money in your career and I hope that you won't earn those bad guys money.It is because people like that don't deserve any help and should be punished.I would alos encourage you to help those people who are grass root people who wants to hire a lawyer for their problem but without money.Of course I mean when this people are really innocent and has never break the law.it is beacause in our world today.The rsih peopl always win in the court and the poor will always loss.That is an insult to the law system and also a shame to human justic.I think we need more lawyer who will stand up for real justic in nowaday but not just for th sake of money.Well,I hope you will be agood lawyer someday in the future.

You have really raised an interesting topic. When someone is asked to tell who he really is, he commonly describes his name, position,status,designation and role. A person may be a child,teenager,adult and aged,but it describes his stages of life.A person may be male or female;it is only his/her gender. A person may be an worker,supervisor or manager;it is only his designation. All these descriptions only reveals a person's role,condition and character. These are one,s possessions that exist as long as he lives on the earth. All that what you possess are not " the real you ". Knowing one's "real self" is not knowing one's possessions and roles. Your possessions are changeable, transient and temporary; but one,s "real self" continues for ever.

Hi wild little fan: I think I know my feelings, my hopes, my fears and I know what to expect on me. I think that knowledge of yourself is comlexe process that never end at all. I think that you just need to meditate on your thoughts, and everything that comes on your mind, and also think about your life to get a better knowledge of yourself. exactly you have raised the right point, knowledge of knowing our self is definitely complex process its goes on and on ... but i believe, the most interesting point is sometime we behave or respond to a certain situation in such a fashion which is completely unknown to our self ...means ...umm i can explain this like ....Sometime when i have gone through a particular situation and i realize( after been through that situation ) that i never thought i would have react in this way ...A completely new side of oneself appears....
Do you feel the same way? or do you have any other comment in this regard ...

That's a million dollar question. We all are concerned about the world and never try to look at ourself and find our the drawbacks within us and try to improve ourself. We always criticize other people around us and are concerned only about their behaviour. That's why the world is improving at a very low pace. I feel if we all do some self-analysis and try to improve ourself instead of poking nose in others' the world will be a better place than it is. What you say?

Yes,I agree with you.Most epople loves to criticiae others but lavck of self -awareness and self-examination.if we can be honest to ourselves and start to get to know ourselves in a constructive way,the world will surely to be a better place to stay at.But unfortunately,msot people don't want to know about their real self.Why? I think people are all afraid of get to know how bad they are.They might have more interest in get to know how good they are and loves to hear all the good things about them.I think we all have strong and weakness side in us.But our self-understanding is just so selective.Not all the people have the guts to face the dark side of themselves and love to point their fingers to others when anything happen.We can always see things like that in what we always called "team work"Nobody wants to blame themselves but others for any failure.I hope more people can be aware of this issue and start to face themselves.Well ,I think sometimes we need some help from others .Such as friends.Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

i think i am like you... i don't really know myself that well as well and i don't really know what i want in this life as well... but i think there is never such a thing called as "too late"... as long as we are still breathing and living, we have to make good use of every opportunities that come to us... anyway, it is always better to be a little bit late than never... am i right??? :-) take care and have a nice day...

It's not too late to get to know yourself! I was a little like you, always busy with something or someone else to really take the time to get to know myself. I did little bits, but never really digging very deep. Then, after the birth of my daughter, I took a *lot* of time to really get to know myself back then. It has helped me be a much better and stronger person today.

I feel like I actually know almost everything that there is to know about myself. I have known since I was a very young girl what my goals and aspirations for my life were. I've also known my fullest potentials. I think that in this life there is never anyone that will be able to know us the way that we know ourselves. I've things that I hold inside that no one except for myself knows about me and there may be no one that will ever know these things about me.

I know myself. I am a goal oriented person who wants to accomplish all my dreams in life. I tend to be serious oftentimes especially in school. I love the extreme outdoors. I like to travel to different places. There are a lot of things that I know about myself.

When I was a kid,I did not remember what I did, but my mother always says to me that I am a good looking girl and I always go out of the house to play with my friends.But when I become a teenager I realize what education is mean for our day to day life.I also learn how to respect my elders and my younger too.When I am become an adult. I was busy to get know things about my career.........So I think I am a responsible girl from young itself.
