He didn't mean he really cry's about your English that part was dry humor. What he meant was its hard to read your English. Your English is a bit hard to read in some area's but I don't think its to bad. I have read much worse!
Anyways Happy lotting!

Hi wicked,
July´s English is not worse than many posts written by US born people. We make some mistakes due to the keyboard (check your own mistakes in your answer). There´s no reason to laugh at that, except if you are silly. When will some people understand that in some countries English is NOT the native language? In fact, English is not the language spoken by the mayority in the world.
Happy posting at this site with people from all around the world!

I don't know why you read hard my post, maybe I used correct grammar and most of English speaking country don't used. LOL anyway, it's ok for if I am corrected so that I will know where I made mistakes.
Yes, I agree more countries don't used english language and because of this some get problem due to language barriers but here in mylot we don't have language barriers as long as you can speak language even it is called english carabao, you can!

I haven't been here for very long but I did read the guidelines and it's against the rules for a member to comment about another member's ability to communicate in English. This is the first time I've seen a discussion of yours, julyteen, but I didn't find you hard to understand at all.

hi julyteen it would have been more to the point if he just had suggested
what was wrong, and you are learning quite well. What he could have told you is like this phrase I am advice, should be I am advised to improve my English.Your discussion was not hard to understand when I just corrected tenses in my head, you are learning and we did understand you, it is just a few little grammatical things you can learn quickly Like I was not upset with this guy, instead I felt pity. How come he cried about my English. see these few corrections, now do not think I am being nasty, I have a degree in English and have not used it in years. lol. Just wanted to help is all. the guy broke mylot rules in that he is not to make fun of or criticize a non English user here at all. Julyteen you do quite well.

hi both of you letran is right its against mylot rules to criticize one who is not perfect in English and uses it as a second language. He was completly out of bounds on that and really you could have reported him
for this. It was rude, unkind and yes, childish.Yes lets forget grammar and enjoy each other and make some wonderful friendships here. I did do
a booboo there I should have sent Julyteen a private message. I never criticize as I know how hard our English language is to learn. I just think that all you people who use English as a second language do wonders as I would not be able to learn new languages easily at all. thumbs up.

Hi friend,
I went to read the post and then the profile of the mylotter. He was 19 years old! Let´s hope life teaches him a bit!
We must not worry because of those youngsters. English is not my native language but I find here a reward that goes far beyond language boundaries or earned cents. Let´s go on having fun with mylot and getting to know more our friends. And maybe, just maybe, that kid will get to be a man someday .

People only want attention and that's why who ever this person is got your attention on it. i did read the guidelines i believe it's a NO NO to criticize some one the way he/she speaks english. we have the right to speak the way we think were right but you know, it's alrught to be corrected, only in private messages.

Don't feel bad July, it was really a good observation from that guy but he should have added more saying "I understand since you're not from US to speak fluent English". You just need to practice speaking in English and correct your grammar.. like for example
I am disgusted to my yahoo - should be I am disgusted with my yahoo
so many many spammers - is so redundant, you used , "many many", then the word spammers..
You also spoke "This kind of promotion is very bad for all"- you can rephrased that sentence into " This kind of scheme is not good".. but anyway I am happy that you tried your very best to express your feelings here at Mylot. Don't get yourself down by such criticisms. Improve yourself and learn from your mistakes.

I am not disappointed nor upset. It's a part of my growing up, I mean the criticism will improved me and try my best to be consistent with my grammar and tenses. Thanks for him because I am awake for making more mistakes although we are not perfect and sometimes we can't prevent it may happen to everyone.

Unless someone specifically asks for assistance it is impolite to point out someone else's mistakes. There are a few here who consider it a favour if their English is corrected but they ask for it. And you July, keep posting and keep reading those who write correctly and automatically one fine day your English will be perfect.

No problem for me he directly criticize my English atleast I knew I make some mistakes but what I did is tolerable due to the reason that English language is not my mother tongue.
You are right constant participation here will improved my speaking communication. I hope become better than the day I start mylotting. Thanks for the support.

Hi Julyteen,
I think that the comment you are talking about must have been removed. There is nothing on there mentioning your English. Some people tend to forget that not everyone on here is from the States. Even the ones that are....not everyone is skilled in proper sentence structure and grammar. I had no trouble understanding what you were writing at all.

Yikes, that's not very nice :( I'm sorry you had to hear that from someone. I think you seem like a good person and I applaud your ability to stand up for yourself! ^_^ Hope you have a great day and don't let him/her get you down!

What's wrong with your English? For me, I don't care whether you're fluent or not as long as I can understand what you are saying, and your point. Don't waste your time with this kind of person. We are not born to be perfect but at least we try to express what we feel. Hugz friend.
P.S. thanks for everything.

yes you are right friend. It's not important the grammar and the tenses as long as we understand what we are saying about. Many mylotters here who are from different countries who only used English nowadays and never been before, they have a bad English but friendly mylotters understand them as far as we can. Thank also for everything my friend.

Don´t worry, julyteen! Your English is quite good. The boy´s manners aren´t, though. I´d like to know how he would do in a site where he woud have to write with a language that it is not his mother tongue!
Take care and happy posting!

Even those people that English is their mother language still commit mistakes how much more those are not like me. Anyway, that guy don't know the guidelines of mylot so he openly said that words to me. Let give him a chance so near or later he will become aware of all those things and will behave.

Hello Julyteen,
Either i don't get your point on "comment/response" #9 or simply that comment had been deleted already. seriously, i didn't see any of those responses that criticizes your english. although i saw response number 9 is quiet good.maybe it has been deleted by the admin because no one's allowed to criticize some one else's english and it's a violation of the guidelines, so that must be what happened.
AS for me, you spoke real good english. no problem with that.

Well I didn't read your post but I can tell that you shouldn't be upset if some one made a remark about your English. There is always room for improvement. If you are not from USA which I believe so without reading your profile, then you can for sure do a little better. I don't say that each and every member from USA have better command in English than your self but all I am saying take his remark as a blessing and continue improving your self.

I have read your discussion and it seems normal and right for me. We all made some mistakes from time to time but it doesn't meant that we don't have the right to improved. As for that somebody that says you have to improved your English he just expressed his opinion. Maybe he is not really trying to insult you or something.
Just relax and chill out. What matter most is that your English is fine to me. My English is not exactly not perfect and if somebody will tell me to improved my English then i wont mind at all. Sometimes we need to accept criticism even if it's good or bad.

Hi july teen: I don't think so. I have read some of your discussions since we started being friends and I have always understood what you are saying so it's ridiculous. Everybody commits mistakes, specially those like me that simply write the things that come to their minds and sometimes we type so fast that we write a word in a bad way but that's different to say that the way your english makes people cry. I think it's wrong and you don't have to worry about it. Thanks for asking us this question anyway. Have a nice day.

Well,i think at least the message is clear because he reacted,it is still understandable, people are of different opinions and views too, some may be frank and straight, some may just nod and agree, some despise and tells the truth while others just ignores things...at least the balance is there, the right side ,the left side and our side...Keep it up my friend!learn from it!

Hi friend, depress not about the comment, note that success in life has nothing to do with vocabulary/english but a personality that cannot be intimidated by circumstances.
