Wrist watch is a very useful and handy item which regularly used by many of them. And some even choose branded one of their own choice. But, since the mobile provides the time, date and day - I totally stopped using my wrist watch. I feel free and flexible. How about you...?? do you still use wrist watch.

i still do. it's really important for my work because we have to keep track of the activity timings during the pre-departure of the flight and you can't always carry around your phone. so i still do wear a wrist watch. i've gotten used to it because of work. before, i didn't wear them as much.

at first, it felt like i was compelled to. but now, i've just really gotten used to it. my friends even noted how i still would wear a watch even when we're all swimming in the pool or even at the beach.

I have a wristwatch but I hardly ever use it. I use my cell phone to look a see what the time is. I'm home most of the time and I have plenty of clocks so I don't really need to wear a wrist watch. Have a good lotting day

So you are a free person to keep your wrist not tied up with a watch. Even myself the time I am using a mobile I totally discarded the wrist watch -this way I feel relaxed and also free. Thanks for your kind response.

I stopped to use a wrist watch thirty years ago when I was at university, as a symbol of slavery. During twenty years my colleagues looked at me like an alien. Since ten years everybody is giving up wrist watches. I consider seriously now to buy another one .

That is really interesting to note that the analogue wrist watches more good when compre3d to digital wrist watches. Even myself to keep my wrist light I avoided the wrist watch. In this way I feel comfortable.

Good question. My man bought me a watch about two years ago and it was tight so I never wore it. Its funny though because for Valentines Day he surprised me with a Guess watch/charm bracelet. I NEVER liked to wear watches but this is different. It looks like a charm bracelet and the watch part is one of the charms. Its beautiful! This is one watch I will wear because its not the kind that is tight on the wrist. This is a bracelet. I wear tons of bracelets so it fits right in. lol I will admit though that Ive never looked at the watch part to tell time. I have actually asked others for the time forgetting that I had a watch on. lol Happy MyLotting dl

It is really interesting to go through your response - yes it sometimes happens that though we have a watch with us we ask for the time. There is a particular word for this type of asking but am unable to recollect that now. Any how enjoy that as per your choice. Thanks for your response.

My husband actually stopped wearing his watch a long time ago. Actually when he noticed that computers had the same information. He figured that since you can see the information in front of you when you are working, then there is no need for the extra accessory. I must admit that I still wear one. I like having the extra jewelry I guess. I also look at it quite frequently when I am needing to watch the time for some reason.

You are right - it is all an individuals taste about the wrist watch. In the same house you two have two different thoughts, hence it is one's own taste. Using a wrist watch is useful in some occasions I do agree for that.and it also adds beauty especially to ladies.

well i still use one because it is needed in our field. Well a wrist watch is much easier to use because 1. its in your wrist 2. you can tell the seconds in it 3. there will be no hassle like a mobile phone if your 2 hands are preoccupied.

I have not worn a watch for over a year as i used to come out in a rash when ever i wore one.If i need to know what the time is then i tend to look at my phone as that has the time on the front of it and i am the type of person to have my phone with me all the time.I do still have three watches.

That means you are a free person without a watch - no burdening the wrists with a watch. Since we wore the watch for several years and to discard that one makes us feel uncomfortable for some days in the initial stage but as time goes we get habituated. Ok - you manage the time and date with the mobile - the same thing I do and am cautions of always recharging the battery of my mobile as and when needed, otherwise it will be a problem.

I still use wristwatch. I don't find them restricting in any way. In fact, I feel lost and naked without it. I know that many people replaced wristwatch with their mobiles or PDAs. I find that very inconvenient for me. I cannot be bothered to rummage through my handbag to find my cell phone just to look at the time.

I still use a wristwatch. It's true that you have your phone but for me personally, it's easier to just look at my watch rather than bring out my phone from my bag just to check out the time. Another personal reason is that, during my childhood, I've always wanted to have a watch but it's not a necessity because of financial restriction. Now that I have an extra money to buy, I bouhgt myself one so it's like fulfilling that childhood dream. :)

How nice to hear that your child hood dream is fulfilled. Yes, as children we dream so many things , but when we start earning of our own then starts our freedom of fulfilling the dreams. Using a wrist watch is totally an individuals choice and some responses informed how important it is to use a wrist watch because of their work pattern. I do agree for that. Thanks for your response.

I am still using wrist watch now. I started using wrist watch from Grade 3 in primary school, it has been 13 years till now. I wearing wrist watch all the time except having bath, even sleeping with it. Though I have mobile which can provide me time, but I feel it's inconvenient to take the mobile again and again only for time. I recently hear a kind of statement: Wearing a wrist watch is a sign of successful man

A good and transparent thought about wrist watch. It is glad to hear that you are a watch collector and also crazy about them - nice. It also adds beauty to some - which I have practically observed. Please enjoy with your wrist watch and good wishes for your collection record.

I agree... the wristwatch has taken on somewhat of a fashion accessory status these days... rather than an implement of timekeeping! I don't really use one anymore. I have an expensive one to use at weddings and parties... but otherwise i just use my phone and laptop to tell the time. It's a pretty sad thing really, when you think about how long wrist watches have been around for! Technology killed the Wrist Watch. :(

Thanks for being so transparent in your response - yes in fact technology has killed many useful things. It has killed the life of an artist, as many artist s have become jobless these days.
