For how many years I stayed at home and manage only our small business but months ago I started working in different place away from my country. With that time period I said to myself I am bored with my routine work everyday. It's too early to felt that way. It's 7am here now and it seems I don't want to wake up. I want to sleep the whole day. Tomorrow will be my day off but it seems I can't wait it. What happen to me? What the reason behind? Did you felt the same way I feel right now?

Work becomes boring if:
1. You dont like the job you are doing.
2. You dont have any good relationship with your co workers or office mates.
3. When its really routinary and you dont have teh chance to change it the way you want it.
4. If the salary will not compensate on the l;oad of job you are doing.
5. If you are only working for money and not on how you are satisfied with what you are doing.
6. You dont have any other choice but to work since you need to pay your bills and debts. Lol
7. Their are no beautiful ladies in the office. Lol (Kidding)
8. You hate your boss and your boss hate you too.
I hope this helps...

Hi mrfdg: I agree with you. Even if we sometimes feel that our job is boring or that it's not exactly what we are expecting as a job, we have to think that at least we bhave something to do these days, specially after an economical recession and that job is a blessing. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

maybe you were just used to work at your own time. and i guess, even with that business you have in the philippines, you also do the same work routine everyday. you will get used to this kind of work in no time. just don't think more about your wife you left behind.

Hi july teen: I agree with you that sometimes the routine is too hard for all of us, but in general, I think that when you are doing something that you really like, things seems to be faster. The problem is that it's not so easy to something that you really like these days. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I guess most of us do feel the same way about work. The daily routine and the tired schedule. I guess the best thing to do is to search for a job which interests you, and slowly get a hold of it. I hope it would not be as boring as the present one.

Hello Julyteen,
I've been there a lot of times! And I'm telling you, it really feels so uncomfortable. Probably you're just stressed. You might need a quality day off or vacation to recharge. Perhaps you can talk to your boss about this.
As for my new job now, I haven't felt it yet. Probably because I'm still new to this field and I'm still excited to learn a lot of things. But I try to make it a point not to work extended hours. I try to get work off my head when I'm home too just to avoid getting burnt out.
Cheers,
hONEY

Repetitive work is really boring. This is true for people whose personalities are out going and extrovert. I guess the best way to be able to cope with this is to find other activities that can add variety to your daily routine. This could be a part time job, a new hobby, or by hitting the gym. You can also reduce boredome in your workplace by challenging yourself. Instead of meeting a deadline, beat it. Find ways to make your job more appealing for you. If all else fails, time to visit job search engines. It is but important to work because you love your work and not work because you just have to work.

Gosh!I really felt the same way right now. I am extremely bored with my routine work, I really hate this and I want to get out from this job, but then again I know the sad reality in our country right now, where getting and finding work is as hard as counting the stars in the heaven, so I just endured this super boring work and just reminded myself how people without work prayed so hard to get a job and I am just so lucky I have one, so I just keep quiet right now and concentrate on my work.

Work isn't too boring to me. It's pretty tedious, I do two different jobs about 6 days a week, but I generally enjoy it. (Key word: generally). The good thing about my jobs are that I love my co-workers, and that makes time go by and helps me not think about the tediousness of the job.

Hello julyteen,
that's simple, if you work, work and work every day doing the same old thing, there's no doubt you gonna get bored from it.sometimes, even imagine being sleep all day and just do nothing. but you know, take it from some one who hasn't work for a while, you don't wanna go back to the unemployed crowd don't worry, all of your work is paid for on your day off

sleep is boring if we look forward to it unless we truly need it ;)

Yes I felt the same way... If only I have enough money to put up my own business I would rather be a businessman instead of a professional. As a businessman, I can dictate my time. I'm the boss. And no one can dictate me what to do!

hi julyteen maybe you liked being your own boss a lot better than
working for someone else, maybe thats what you should really be
doing instead. No I loved the two long jobs I had too much to be
bored at all. Maybe you are suffering from job burn out,if you loved your
job you would not be vored.,
