what do u do to be happy in life and to avoid the stress ???

when i gets angry i just countdown from 10 to 1 to calm my mind coz it diverts my mind away from tension and i think about my dreams .....so do u try something like that ????if yes just post ur answers here i am a short tempered guy thats why i have to do so ....so if u r also please reply i wanna know other ways......... happy myloting

I am also short tempered and used to be very vocal about my anger, have decided to keep quiet when i am very angry, have learnt that is the best way to be professional and matured and it is helping me out. I still react but have reduced considerably...

I give out a big "sigh", it really kinda relieves me temporarily though, from all those stress and problems. Also, unwind a lil bit every week, go workout on the gym or stay with your family and have a lil chitchat or picnick.

hi abj163 I just think of something really silly while I count to75 then I smile, laugh and walk away from the situation. I also have a quick temper but too I am over my anger quickly. As a diabetic I have to keep my cool as anger causes your blood sugar to shoot up badly and who needs it.Counting backward,wow that a unique way to do it to as you have to pause and change your thought patterns.

I try to find something that takes me totally away from my stress. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery. Other times I am happy just to watch an old movie or talk with a friend. Joys can be simple. Stress doesn't have to remain.

hi there im also a short tempered person also, i easily get mad if things will go wrong, when i get mad i just walked away and thing of positive things like, im lucky and i should be happy, and i also think of funny moments in my life, in that way my i will be calm again and my day wont be spoiled...

To be happy in life? well do things that make you happy.:D Why would you do things that make you sad or depressed right? Hmm, to calm myself from anger, I bite my lower lip and clench my fists really tight. I take deep breaths and I don't talk for a while. To avoid stress? Hmm, I thinking positively and finding reasons to be happy will make your life less stressful.:)
