As per my opinion I don't think we (science and technology)make a machine that can feel love or hurt like we do. I don't think we can put consciousness in machine and make machines enough capable to have real feelings.Though I know we are getting very advance in what we can make robots but after all they are still machines computerized, programmed and controlled by us..What do you think?

I think anything in science and technology is possible. Sooner or later robots and machines will seem more human. It is just the way of progress and the future.

HI sender: I agree that in the future robots will be more "like humans" but I don't think, and I also don't want, that they will be exactly like us. Maybe we can create life using clonation science, whatever, but it's different to make a machine that feels just like a human do. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

Ah! We are talking science fiction here. Emotions in Robots. I would recommend reading Isaac Asimov's Robot series novels. He has written great stories on exactly this team and poses a lot of real good questions and queries on this subject. I would recommend that you read those novels and you would enjoy yourself on this topic.
Cheers!

well i think you cannot really program "feelings". i think humans are unpredictable so i think they can't.

I am almost certain that unless there are any restrictions by major authorities. As tech becomes more advanced, scientists can sooner or later build hardware and/or software that can mimic our feelings and actually feel what we feel. In fact it may come sooner than we think as more and more efforts are spent in AI development.

Couldn't agree with you more. I don't think we have ever succeeded in doing that have we. Not for a long time. No one has ever been successful in measuring how much the heart can actually hold. And that sets our creator very much apart. You don't call one for no reason.

No, I don't think its possible. Even if we are advancing enormously in science and technology, I don't think we can ever be able to build a robot who can actually feel emotions, feel touch, feel joy, feel pain. We are still humans and we cant play God!

Hi Crazy Poster: I think that even the most advanced bot build by as can't immitate human feelings because they are complex and they are umpredictable that you can program them. I think in fact that to "program something to do what you want" and "feelings" are two concepts that one exclude the other and that's the reason we can't do this. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day.

Of course not. Science or technology never can do it as they are not Allah.
Robot or machine can easy our work by doing help but they can not share our sad.

If you'd asked me this a few years i would have said no straight off. However nothing shocks me about science or technology these days. We are running at incredible speeds! Things are developing at a crazy rate, and we are able to do such weird and wonderful things with our technology. I wouldn't be suprised if we managed to create an Artificial Consciousness any day today! *Notice I say artificial. Not the same as a human heart or mind or soul. Who knows where we're going as a race?!
