Haha... I think this would be a good topic. I cook cause I like preparing food and eating it while it's still hot. My specialty of course are mostly filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang & pochero. Although according to my son, niece and nephew they like my spaghetti very much. :)

I make homemade bread and everyone loves it. I also make cinnamon rolls out of it and that is a #1 request when ever we have a fellowship at church.
I also make a cake with ripe bananas called 'hummingbird cake' that is another #1 request.

I love to cook. Spaghetti and meatballs is a specialty, along with a tuna casserole I invented that everyone in my famiy likes. They also like a hot dog, bacon, and baked bean casserole I got from my mother - strange, because, normally they don't like those ingredients, only in this casserole. My Caesar salad is also a specialty much appreciated.

I'm including people who are not smart in cooking, I am also a lazy person in cooking. But because I am a housewife, and had to prepare food, I always cook every day. Sometimes I am very confused, what dishes should I make. Maybe I have a lot to learn to cook, so I'm not confused anymore in terms of cooking. But I am very lazy, and very difficult to remove my feeling lazy.

I love to cook but I dont think I have a speciality. Now that my friends and I are getting older, I cook (depending on who is comming to diner) vegetarian, with less salt, with lots of meat (for a non vetetarian husband of a vegetarian friends) For a long time I made few sweet things, but lately I have adopted a cousin who likes sweets so I´m into it again.
Could you tell me what is pochero? I´d like to know if it´s something similar as what I cook a lot at this time of the year (approaching Winter).
Take care!

Yes I do. I am a very good cook. I can do lots of Filipino dishes. What I don't have though is time because I am working full time and I have lots of activities. But I am not frustrated. I still try to find time practice my skill in cooking. My favorite dish to cook is sinigang since I love eating it. But I can also cook adobo, pochero, kare-kare, litson kawali, pakbet, ginataang langka, bicol express, ensalada, and a lot, lot more. I tend to experiment as well and study the food on my table when I visit restaurants then imitate it when I have the chance.
