I thought I'd just say hi.
I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm a 33 year old single mum living in the UK. I'm hoping that this site will help me not get quite so bored when the kids are in bed lol. And if I can make a few pennies along the way that would be absolutely great!
Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Rosesareblue and welcome to myLot. I am from the UK too and have made many friends here, some of whom I have actually met and more I have spoken to on the phone or Skype. There are several regular UK folk here and I am sure that you will come across us in time. The best way to get on at myLot is just to forget the money and write interesting discussions and similar responses. That way you enjoy yourself and suddenly one day you'll look up and discover that you have made payout ($10) as well. The secret to discussions is to phrase them in such a way that people can engage with you. You seem to have started well in that respect. I hope that you have a very enjoyable time here and I shall look forward to reading your work. Take care and good luck.

Hello and welcome to mylot. I hope you have a wonderful experience her among all of us. It does pass the time by and keep you from getting bored. There are many interesting topics her on mylot to view and comment on and you will find almost every kind of interest imaginable here. It also seems to be a great place to discuss somethings you feel like you can't talk about with friends or family sometimes. Everyone has an opinion and you get lots of advice here. My advice for you is to sit back relax and enjoy yourself by making new friends and ALWAYS having something to talk about. Good Luck!

Thank you. Sounds like the sort of site I could easily become addicted to! I can talk the hind leg off a donkey. Part of the reason I wanted a new interest is to take my mind off my own problems.. would certainly be great to get a few outside opinions on some of those!

Hi rosesareblue, welcome to myLot. Just have fun and you'll be fine. My advise would be to read the Discussion guidelines and FAQs. They've got everything you need to know about myLot. If you need help along the way, we'll be glad to help out in any way we can.

Hey Rosesareblue!
1st off i want to welcome you to the mylotting comunity ^^.I'm a new mylotter as well but i like it.I am sure you will find some interesting topics to write on :)
If you want to increase your income,well make some quality posts.You should make them with a few paragraphs and each paragraph should have like 3-4 sentences.
Another thing i suggest you doing is checking out the tasks.They are easy and award you with a few cents.
