The Mobile Inustry is graping a huge share in the market these days, specially after developing Mobile OSs which can be an alternative for PCs and Laptops when you are on the GO.
Google (Andriod), Microsoft (Windows Mobile), BlackBerrys, and Mac (iphone). All these companies are competing every day to provide the best solution for personal and enterprise usage of mobile systems.
Which Mobile OS do you prefer and why?
I would love to know your opinion and grap more information about this insudtry.

Personally, I prefer one that isn't on this list, WebOS. It's the OS that runs on the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi. It doesn't have the massive following that the iOS or Android do but it's an extremely solid OS that is capable of things that the other two big ones are just now catching up to (good multitasking being the big one here). Now that HP has bought Palm, expect to see WebOS explode soon.

Lord, thanks for your comment. I believe you are right, I should have added the WebOS in the list. Lets hope it will reaches the same track as this will increase the competition and with that come more improvement.

I don't know anything about any of the operating systems but windows mobile, as that is the one I am using now. My daughter has the Android one and she likes it too. I haven't been using the windows mobile phone for only a few months, and it has plenty of reatures, more than I could ever want or need. I can even post in here on it, and that is one of the biggest reasons I bought it. When I have to babysit, I don't have access to my laptop, so I am able to go do the things on my phone that I can do on here. Take care, and have a very good day.

I think that iPhone OS is the best one.
It has the biggest number of applications and support. Many developers are submitting many applications daily and there is an app for almost everything.
The new iOS 4 is even better and faster.
I like symbian OS but the s60v3 was fail. I've resetted my n95 8gb and formatted its whole memory and it is still slow (if someone can give me some tips, feel free to add me as friend and help me, because this OS is too slow). I don't like that I have to wait for it to load my menu, music player and camera. When I want to capture something I have to wait for really, really long (like 10 sec) to start up the cam and such things. My player gives me errors often. I have 300+ songs, but I have the same amount on my iPod and this won't stop it from working. It gives me no errors.
The touchscreen ones are better. They have menu effects and such things. Major fixes are also added in the new s60v5 symbian OS.
Maemo 5 is also good for users. It is really personalisable and easy to use, but it has not that many applications and games. Also not many developers are using it, so if you are about to choose I would choose iOS 4, because it has the most functionalities!
