I hate waiting too, which is why answering machines and/or called id is wonderful for the phone call..Except now I have neither, so if I am expecting a phone call, I have to stay home..:(

I think that having to wait for things is really annoying.I think that if you are told that you will get a call in a few days then all well and good but it is when the waiting takes longer than a few days.A few days to me would be two or three days yet there few days could be a week.

Hi Jugs, I lost my bank cardon Tuesday and they said 3-5 working days for a new one to arrive and I am getting fed up waiting on thepost and it not being there I have funds but no way to access it, (found a way round made a bank transfer to my friends acount and she drew cash out for me) I can't pay any online bills or anything right now, so frustrating waiting I agree. Huggles. Ellie:D

I am waiting for a letter that should have a cheque with it as i have closed one of my bank accounts that was a savings account that i had forgot about. They said that they have got to put all the interest on the account first so there will be more money to come to me not just the balance they told me.I have also been waiting for a call about my hospital tests that they had todo.

I try to learn patience but sometimes I hate waiting for things lol I mean everything u do take times. I always have 2 wait 10 minutes for the bus or wait 4 my report card to be sent to me. Waiting teaches you some lessons though so I guess it's a good thing.

I am not very good playing the waiting game for anything. There are people that will say that things will be with you in a few days yet there are other people who say a few days yet they mean longer than a week.I bet they would not like waiting for things like we have to.

I hate waiting for a phone call as well. When I am expecting a call, I have to take the phone with me everywhere, even the bathroom. Sometimes my phones don't work, so I try to make sure I am near another one (I have 4 handsets). If you are waiting for a letter from a different place, maybe you should call them. Maybe you already did and that is the phone call your waiting or. After a few days I would call them again.

Yes I do get fed up easily, I am a very impatient person and I hate to wait although sometimes I just have to. I am now waiting on a review payment that still hasn't come through which is bothering me a lot!

I hate all the waiting as half of the time i do not think there is any reason why i have to wait for the things.I think that we have a good postal service aswell as we have phone lines in buildings so there is no excuses for the waiting around for the things that we do wait around for.

I've always found that if you wait around for anything it seems to take longer. If you forget about it, it will happen before you know it.

Oh I surely get fed up of waiting too. I tend to be impatient when it comes to having to wait on almost anything. I love gardening and even the seeds I plant cant rest until they start popping up. I just cant seem to stop watching and wanting them to pop up faster then the packet says they would germinate.
The bank lines and and other line also get me jittery with impatience.

dear jj,
it is one of my weaknesses. i am very impatient when waiting especially in a place foreign to me. sometimes meetings are set in places i am not even familiar with and when i arrive and the others come late, it feels stressful and the energy just drains out of me.

The waiting I hate the most is the sittin-and-waiting in traffic. I already get impatient with regular everyday traffic, all the more when there is an incident down the road and traffic gets all backed up. I almost, always feel all fed up. And also very unproductive.
Hi jugs. I hope that by now you've already gotten your phone call and your letter.

Hahahah I totally understand your point I mean I am also on that situation of waiting my delayed salary for 2 months. I worked on this started business last March to April then by May we already stopped since the company has lacked of funds. Now the investor is actually gave us promised that he will do ways for us to be paid but then even the partial payment was already postponed then I started to argued with that investor. He told me to give him time to collect but then I still forgive his request but of course it has limitations.

Yes, I agree, I hate waiting around too. It is also annoying when you are waiting for a delivery where they give you a 6-hour time slot or something, so you can't leave the house in that time, as you know the minute you nip to the shop, the delivery van will arrive!!!

When it is too long a time waiting, I can get fed up of it, especially when something I order on line does not come as it is supposed to. Sometimes when the goods I order on line reach my city without the delivering man sending it to me on weekends, I am not happy with it and I end up getting fed up of waiting for it.

jugsjugs,
I suppose we are born to wait or if I may add even that needs to wait.
I do not think we can change this blatant fact that half of our lives is spent on waiting, literally. So, I can understand your feelings here, especially when the issue is pressing.
I just hope that you got around receiving both the letter and the call eventually. For me, I am quite preoccupied most of the time to be bothered with all these lags in between and like you - I cannot help it. So, I'll do the next best thing and avoid making people wait for me.

Waiting is inevitable.. But the patience for waiting, can be trained, over the time.. haha =D
Just like what i've gone thru in the past.. I'm not waiting for phone calls, or letters, but waiting for my gf then.. haha =D And everytime i waited, it's about at least 1-2 hrs, and during that time, i'm not supposed to roam around, for she might be ready anytime.. haha =D
And yet i have nothing to do for those hours, so i can only be standing around like a fool, or someone suspicious etc.. My patience did ran out several times, but what to do?? Be it patient or impatient, one has to wait, so why not wait peacefully?? hehe

Agree! I hate to wait as well. I do not wait for phone calls and would leave them with the voice mail. Knowing when the queue would be very long at the nearby supermarket helps me to plan my grocery-shopping. Sometimes I have no choice but to endure. But if I have a chance to leave for something more important I would.
