Hello aquariand and welcome to myLot. Apples are always a good snack and it is true that an apple a day keeps the Dr away. Another nice easy snack is natural peanut butter stuffed celery with raisins. Carrots sticks or those baby carrots are also good. 10 to 12 raw almonds are also a good healthy snack they are full of good oil. An avocado mashed and spread on toast is one of my favorites. Hope this helps

I like carrots and apples but hate celery so will try and nibble these instead of chocolate or biscuits

Nuts can be high calorie though, so you have to limit things like almonds and peanut butter.

Nuts are full of manganese and vitamin E and is heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. They will fill you up pretty good. You have to look at more than just calories. check them out here

I usually eat a snack in between meals, not before a meal. Otherwise, I will find myself so full and not properly eat my meals.
I love to eat fruits. I usually eat apples in the morning and snack on some yellow or green mangoes at night or some turnips or pomelos. Depending on what fruit is in season. I think it is a lot healthier to eat them than snacking on junk foods.
