How much excersise does your child have?

It is really healthy (not to mention fun) for children to run around outside though in the winter time this is not always possible. I try to make sure that my daughter gets plenty of excersise outdoors though I do admit sometimes when I am really busy my daughters excersise is limited to running about indoors. She does watch a few singing and dancing programmes in which she always dances to which is also good excersise (and makes me feel better when I cant take her to the park!). How much excersise does your child have?

Hi elf, My children would be perpetually on their feet.we had a large house and garden with trees. They would be climbing trees and playing hide and seek with the neighbor's children .I never stopped them since I too grew up like them all the time running around with my friends, while at home.Today my children feel very happy when they visit home for holidays and recall their childhood days filled with activities and games - all the best and happy mylotting

Both of my children take a gymnastics class which is a year round thing for them. In addition to that, we do a lot of playing outside with the neighbors when the weather permits. Also, since it is summer right now my daughter is on the swim team and my son is taking swim lessons. We are spending at least two hours in the pool every day. I think that exercise is very important for children, but play is as well, so I try to allow them to get exercise while playing.

We don't really do a lot of "exercise" per say, but my boys don't stop running, ever. They are always moving, running, jumping- indoors or out. I try to get them out on nicer days, even if it's just to let them run around in the back yard.

Ji Elfbwillow, In the better weather my sonis always out riding his bike or doing some sort of physical activity, in the winter months and on bad weatherdays he will beon the Wi Fitor just generally running around indoors so he very rarley stops to sit down and then when he does it is usually because he hasworn himself out and fall asleep where he lands. Exercise is good and freshair an#d exercise even better for both the parents and the children. Huggles. Ellie :D

I take them to the pool everyday. Apart from that they are always running around the house. We play blindman buff almost everyday.
