I feel most love marriages don't suvive that long....!!

I don't know what you call 'long', but I disagree that love marriages don't last long. Whether it is arranged or love, there are some relationship which are just not meant to be. I have been married for 6 years, most of it happy, but not all the time. We fight, we argue and sometimes we give each other the silent treatment. All those strengthens our marriage. By doing all those things, we constantly find out about each other, what we like or dislike, etc.

I honestly feel that people don't take marriage seriously enough these days. I married my best friend one year ago and I couldn't be happier. When I went into this commitment I knew what I was getting into and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this person. Yes there will be good times and bad. But that is what your partner is for - to help you get through both and vice versa.
