So, the roomie was in the kitchen when the kitten ran thru. She went UNDER Booboo and then hopped OVER Rygel.
Then, Tuesday, she ran into the kitchen and ran over Kit.
I mean ran over too. She put her front feet on his back and then her back ones and just kept going.
Kit kind of looked around like "WHA???" but Daisy never even slowed down!
Last night she was chasing Rygel across the kitchen when Rygel took a swing at a cat toy on his way by. It made an interesting noise and they BOTH stopped to see what else it would do.
Kittens are so much fun, I forget when we don't have one how entertaining they are!
has your kitten or cat done anything super silly lately like mine?

Your kitty has a dose of the crazy. House cats when kept inside have to send their pray drive somewhere, and it does take odd turns.

My parents like to give the cats the fresh seals of milk bottles as toys. The cats will bat them off somewhere, than hunt them down like they were live mice. Then once in the teeth, the cat in question will dash across the RV in a so demented a fashion, thumping along like a horse, sending any shoes on the floor not attached to feet in every which direction. Lord help any parent in the way of this. Or cat for that matter, or dish. Cat food and water has been splashed in all directions.

I have had several cats and kittens in the past and they are real entertainers. One cat used to love a plastic flower and when she came with the flower in her mouth, she looked sooo cute..
Once I tried to take a photo of another cat, he jumped up. I still have the photo with only a part of his back legs..
The same cat used to go out and one night I looked out of the window and saw that he was playing with what looked like another cat. But that cat was moving in a very different way. Then I saw what it was - a white hare - it had not yet changed the color after winter - and they were about the same size and running around like two cats..

We had a cat, briefly, who would play with the next door neighbor's rabbit.
Mind you, my DOG was afraid of this rabbit (well, Lady was afraid of the cats too), but they told me about the time Singer and the rabbit were playing.
They saw the rabbit go running past the window and the cat chasing him. They thought maybe they should go out and rescue the rabbit when they saw the cat go racing past the window with the rabbit in hot pursuit! The 2 animals played like that for some time.

My rather large kitten soon to be a grown up cat, if you know what I mean has crazy moments of over excitement and that is when he races all over the place and heaven help anything that is in his way including my other poor cat! I usually have a good laugh watching him run around like an insane feline but today he raced over the line! He sprung on my desk so hard and fast that he knocked my printer to the ground and broke it! I was so angry I couldn’t look at him! Fortunately I had to go out for most of the day so I had cooled down by the time I returned home but when I saw my damaged printer I was furious all over again! So far he has broken a vase, ripped clothes, damaged blinds, tablecloths, one printer and even got to the fridge magnets! Lucky for him, he’s cute...

Kittens are so cute. Most cats as they age, they don't play as much. I had an older cat, that played like he was a kitten. He was soo funny! The other cats just looked at him like he was nuts! I guess they would get mad at him for waking them up from their naps. He would attack their tails and just make a pest of himself. He wanted to play and they wanted to sleep.

Right now, our kitten is playing with the lighthouse throw on the black couch. I have no idea why it is attracting her attention so much, but she's jumping, diving, chewing, rolling, biting, running away, running back, jumping from the back of the couch, whatever to be successful in her efforts to defeat this lifeless foe. She's got a bit of the devil in her - nothing stops her, even when she's being bad. She's about 10-11 weeks old and was saved after a dog killed the rest of her family. She was the one who had the wits to go under the fence where the dog couldn't go. She was about 4 weeks old when we got her. Now, she's decided to attack a pompom on the other side of me while our oldest cat, Chloe, watches to make sure she doesn't try playing with her. Oops - forget the pompom - she's after my shoes again - no, she has the pompom and is attacking it AND the shoes. Very hyper, sometimes very fun to watch and other times frustrating because she gets into EVERYTHING. She loves Tiki who has decided she's not so bad. They will play and wrestle, but the little one gets really rough and doesn't put herself in check. Tiki tries to reprimand her, but it only seems to encourage the little one, so Tiki has taken to sleeping on the kitchen table to get away from her (no chairs for her to get on to reach the table). Adult cats, like adult humans, have their limits.

She sounds like Rygel was as a kitten. And Natasha when we had Roxie's kittens.
Its nice to have a hyper cat who takes the kittens in hand and teach them how to be a respectful cat.
When Natasha was with us, she'd play with Rygel until he was tired, then annoy the other cats until Rygel had rested and recharged! Meanwhile, Boris was hiding out in my room avoiding his sister!

Quite the opposite. My two brothers and their wives were visiting from of state on Tuesday of this week. Sleepy would play for a short time with each of my brothers, but pretty well ignored their wives until the afternoon. At that time, he made the rounds, checking each person out. Then, he hopped up into the lap of Alyce, my youngest brother's wife. He curled up and went to sleep. Alyce is the one that never seemed to care much for either dogs or cats, but she wouldn't let my husband make the cat get down. Maybe he's made a convert out of her.

Hey Elic! I so miss having kitties too! My cats still run
around suddenly, usually during the early hours of the morning
when "mama" is still awake mylotting. They will be sleeping
or resting and suddenly out of nowhere they just start chasing
each other through the livingroom back and forth! Since I only
have the two that's the only entertainment I get! But, I just
wonder sometimes what makes them suddenly get this burst of
energy like someone lit a match to their butts!

Cats are predators. Cats hunt in short bursts of energy. so a pet will wake up and have this need to "hunt" but of course they don't know how or have the prey to hunt, so they run around like that.
And the baby is learning to "hunt" in the only way she can, with play....

Maybe she was an acrobat in a previous life...lol. My cats are both well beyond kitten stage. One has a habit of laying on the back of the couch though. And, every single time she does, she goes to sleep and falls off. We put a pillow on the floor behind it to soften the shock...lol.

I think I've hear you talk about your falling cat (too bad you can't post a vid of it!)
Daisy is loads of fun, she's a generally happy girl and a lot of the cats will play with her, and even some that won't play, will let her sleep with them.
Even grumpy Ping!

One morning I woke up and to my surprise I saw Maggie wrestling a stuffed mouse toy that's as long as her but twice as fat as her. She would wrestle the toy, bight it, scratch it and kick it a few times which causes the toy to move around. She'll follow the toy and just kick it's but enthusiastically. When she saw me get down from my bed, she immediately stopped wresting and followed me. Weird. haha

LOL...Well, now, I have two cats that are just a year old now so they still thunder up and down the hallway. I do know what you mean, though. If we could bottle half that energy, we would all be rich!
