Noynoys Inagurial on June 30 with "New Philippines SOng" :$

Read it the whole topic before you judge it. My mom was watching channel two again and i can't believe they are so overrated in this event. as the news are stated as if they are bragging about it when they mentioned even foreign media like Cable News Network and British Broadcasting Corporation will be airing this Inauguration on Wednesday next week. personally, i don't even feel like celebrating, every thing that has been done in the campaign is pure propaganda, and i get a real headache when ever he is aired in the news, or when he and his family is aired so much in the news. What are your reactions or views in this manner? there would be a sworn in but not just the President but also the people who will be watching that there will do the same (DUH! as if they would, pfffft!) then there making a song called "Bagong Filipinas" what's new any ways, same political name, same set of senators, with only more scenes and tensions. you're response are very well appreciated.

You're probably too young to remember, but its always the case before an inauguration. It's just that there's more time running up to the inauguration because the proclamation was early. So they have time to talk about such nonsense that you consider. When the election was just manual, they had two months worth of topics. Like here in mylot, the media also has to come up with topics to justify their pay. It's the way our media thinks - look at the runup to Pacquiao's fights, they talk about every little detail. It's what they consider journalism. It's what people like to hear, details of a party that they cannot attend. It's the same thing in the US. It's giving you a headache because you do not like Noynoy. I was the same way when GMA and Erap were being proclaimed. By the way, we should be thankful that they are airing these "fluffs" because that means that the media has nothing substantial to report, substantial in their view like killings and gore, the things that get the ratings.

It's not that Advocate, Probably I was a bit younger but i do remember the events of the Arroyo time. but i guess the difference now is that back then I wasn't really aware on who to vote to, and didn't do my homework in researching for the best candidate and then vote for gloria, with out any heavy reason what so ever. It's only recently that i have become politically conscious, that must be the reason why i didn't like noynoy so much. but i do remember the media showing a LOT airing of news regarding the cheats, controversials and the likes before gloria's inaugural, but i was too neutral then when i chose arroyo, didn't have the same passion as I have now. oh, well, no so called GOOD NEWS will last forever, am sure it's all controversies in the end.

hi letran, well well i think im already used to it? haha thus im not giving much attention to it already, anyway i am not really feeling any difference from then till now. but its not only noynoy's responsibility to bring changes in our country, i guess its our responsibility as well, all of us should do our part to help even in our own little way. maybe we should give him a chance, he was already proclaimed and whether we like it or not he will be our president for the next 6 years. so instead of criticizing him beforehand, why don't we just cooperate. i think what we're lacking in this country is unity and consideration, sometimes we are just seeing the bad things from them and overlooking the good things, i guess we should also learn to appreciate the good things. again, lets just all hope for the better and lets all work for it...just an opinion.

Hello amyson, i guess it won't stop from that darn proclamation.most specially when the event is over. too many promises had been made and i don't know what would happen now if he does win. probably we should wait for a year to find out while we do our thing. yeah, lets just watch but i have already a bad feeling for this scenario.

I don't usually watch news but every time I am seeing it of course I am being attentive. It could be really sound interesting to my part to the extent that I will focus myself witnessing his inauguration on Wednesday. I was not able to watch Erap's (Good thing because I was in US at that time) and GMA also. But this time I am going to wait for it.

I have heard that song composed by Ogie Alcasid and I love it. The song hopes to have unity and peace among the Filipino people. I hope there will really be peace.

Hello Dorisday, the same person who composed that so "corny song" Si Noynoy? i can't begin to imagine how is it going to be sung.as if they thought the country has been united or something. song is just a song, true peace if ordinary people wants to seek it and not violence. so far, nothing has changed.

As of the moment I don't even say any words about how Noynoy run our country. It's too early to judge him. He is not my President but I have no choice because he won, I posted a discussion related to this topic and I found out many of our countrymen gave him a time to show his work during his authority. Well, let see if he can make changes in our country. Hope he can make a changes.

Hello Julyteen, No one can predict except to those who supports him. yeah, too early to judge but you can judge now the way he makes his decisions. he does making changes, but some how changes aren't right, for some reason it's scraring me than ever before. look at it now, binay refuse three government positions offered to thim, what is that? AM SURE THERE'S going to be change, but will it be good? have a great day.

hi letranknight It sounds like even with the election over nothing'much has changed for the Philippines people. You seem to have the same problems 'and same corruption as before. I was hoping for your sake and your country's sake that there wou ld be major changes to the good for your people. but from what I understand this is just not happening.

Hello Hatley, it's usual for the last two elections, but this time, the media intervene and keep making him more and more popular every day pushing out the real issues at hand. well, i am not so optimistic with him just like you're people who are so not optimistic with Obama. but i guess we just have to see. they both smoke by the way.

Hey letran. I just noticed, that your posts are more and more negative as time goes by.. Come on, let's just give him a chance, he hasn't even started his term yet, and yet you dismiss him like he has already done something bad for our country. I understand where you are coming from, but he is duly elected ( unlike the one before him ), and we should respect that. Let's just hope and pray that he would really do what he promised us he would do. Cheer up!

Hello Ingkingderders, Took you that long to noticed? actually been like this since he back out on debates and media started showing their big color of bias. I am only judging the way he already makes his decisions, and it ain't comfortable to hear, he's already making unpopular and so weird decisions on those people whom i think are not so qualified to be in his cabinet.
30 Jun 10
I've read some NEGATIVE comments and i don't think its fair to judge the newly elected president that way. You're irritated? So what? Why not just ignore it. Instead of blabbering such unnecessary comments. I myself think that this inauguration is very historical indeed. I watched it myself and i saw the faces of the people watching there. You can say that they are very happy with the newly elected president. My dad said, "Kakaiba tong inauguration na to. Dati napaka'formal tlga. Dito masaya lahat ng mga tao." So please don't utter such words. Think first. At least let Pres. Noynoy prove himself to us. I honestly don't like him that much before. But come to think of it. His words are pretty convincing. :)

It only means that filipinos are very helpful of the new president-elect noynoy. So much attention is given to noynoy because he is an "aquino". His parents are national figures of the country. People are expecting a lot from him because his parents are models of the country.

Hello kimsoy, Helpful? only because his popular through his parents names. expecting a lot is the worst thing people can do because we know that in the end we ill all be disappointed in him, no doubt about it. his parents aren't really that experienced, like him. i don't what he's about to do after this so called bonanza.
