how often do you finish your work in Office

Me either. I am the type of person who do not want to procastinate. I am unease if I know there are works that still needs to be done at the end of the day. I want all my work for the day finish before I gets home. But yah, I knwo others want to delay their work until it reaches to a point wherein they cannnot cope anymore. Different people have different attitudes and it a matter of your preference at the end of the day. For me, I do not want to be stressed unncessarily only because of unfinished work. If I have time to do it, I will do it right then and there.

Hi faisale83, I like to have all my daily work allocated to be finished in the office for the day before or right at the office closing time. If there is really a heavy load of works for the day, I prefer to fasten my time and engross in the work solely and get it accomplished right on time. I try not to have chitchat with my colleagues as well as not to do sms during office hour. Sometimes the works allocated are really tough and I need more time and effort to coop with it. Anyway I still would get it finished in the office. I don't mind to take extra to finish it in the office. I feel reluctant to bring office work to finish at home or to deal with them the following day. I would feel extremely happy and relaxed if I could finish all my work before or right at the office closing time. I'm happy that the majority of times I could finish my office on time Happy posting

That is really a trouble, two thing i hate in office. 1 - Lag my own work just to not do much thing, i never do that. 2 - When someone try to pass they work for me, not to help him but just because he want to stay without do anything. So i try to finish my jobs as fast a possible and i try to never pass it to someone else.

i also agree with you. in that way, you get to do more and be organize in your stuffs and job. over lagging your job only means to things,1. your incompetent or 2, your lazy

I also don't like to work overtime. I usually like to finish all my work during regular office hours but lately I have been working overtime cause there are just a ton of work that needs to be finished and not enough time to finish them.

I always make sure I finish my work on time. I don't want to leave any work since it will just pile up. I also don't want to do overtime work. And I think its more impressive for your boss if you finish every work in time.

well it depends, some people pick up speed as the day goes along and evenings are almost an interruption to that tempo..i can get that way sometimes, but lately with a little baby waiting at home, I can just pack up and leave and catch up from where i left off the next day.of course some people pretend to work hard after hours to make an impression and some shirk and take off for no good reason...at least I think I am not being bad/ irresponsible/ unfaithful to the company cos none of my work is timebound for now...advantages of a light part time job :)
