September 26,2010 was the most unforgetable day for me and my family, also to all victims of Ondoy. It was a terrible experience.I don't know where to start.I just keep my faith on him,i know that he will never leave and he is always there to protect me and my family. It was just a trials that makes my faith stronger to believe in him.I was able to share my spiritual belief to other victims of Ondoy that GOD gave this trials to be strong and Keep Believing on him.Now i can say that we have Move On and ready to face new trials.

I'm sorry to hear you are one of the victims of that terrible Ondoy. I am happy though that you were able to move on. I admire you faith Dong and could not do anything but pray that God gives you more strength to weather all storms that would come your way. Just keep the faith, hold on to God for indeed although He did not promise us a life without storms He however promised not leave us nor forsake us. God has never been untrue to any of His promises. Whatever He promised He always keeps. God bless you and your family Dong!

Hello my brother, speaking of hardships and trials and even persecutions are not strange to us. It would just be how you handle the situation. We are different from others and we knew already how to handle cases like this. Aside from these I mentioned above it also depends on the kind of hardships, trials and persecutions. There are those who are just in mild situaton and the most worst is when you would be pressured, like what I am experiencing right now. It is the "pressured" kind of trials. I don't know if I could pass this thing. Just hope and pray... I guess we have no choice but accept and to face it..so help me God.. Cheer up my brother.. Mobhomeir here...

Hi, dong. I am glad you are one of those people who are still alive and was able to cope from Ondoy wrath. A friend of mine who is from pasig lost a family member. It was one of the darkest days in her life and maybe she came to a point that she questioned the motives of God. We all have different trials in life. But if we give in to positivity, we may not be able to appreciate life more. I am happy you are more stronger now. Just keep the faith. It's what always keeps us in moving forward. =) God bless to you and to your family.

hi dong! its been a long time since the last time you visit the site...and i know many have missed you already. actually problems and trials do come to our life in a different way. God will just give us something that He knows we can bear and endure. what is important is for us to remain firm with our faith and don't ever lose hope. God will always be there for us, just keep on holding on and ask for his help and guidance. with Him, everything will be fine and whatever we lose in the process, He can bring them all back. sometimes, things happen to test our faith. in times of troubles, lets be more strong with our faith. what we are experiencing now is nothing as to what Job & Christ experienced in the past. i am so glad to know that you remain firm in your faith and that you are already moving on. i wish all the best and God bless my friend.

Like you my family and I were also victims of Ondoy. We spent the night on top of our roof worrying if the water level would continue to rise until where we were standing. Afterwards we spent months having our house fixed. It was very difficult since the extra expense was unexpected. Until now, even though our house was restored, with some improvements, I still refuse to sleep in the sofa that went under for fear of germs even though there were thoroughly cleaned. I become apprehensive when it rains. I know I am being silly since there's no typhoon, but still I can't help feeling anxious. I know that I have not fully recovered from the experience and all I can do is leave it everything to God.

That particular experience should not be repeated and it is only through the resolve of a united people which will prevent another Ondoy from happening. Otherwise, God forbid, it's bound to happen again. What have we done so far to prevent such a catastrophe from happening one more time? Have started cleaning all our canals, declogging them of garbage, etc. Have we dug more waterways, and have we planted more trees so the future generation will not have the same or even worst fate? Have we made 360 degrees lifestyle change using the 3 R's in saving our environment? Are the streets and canals rid of garbage? I hope we do not wait for another calamity of even greater destruction from happening ever again. Let us do something quick!
