I just have to ask. My wife and I were riding the MRT the other day and took the first part of the train which is dedicated for the elderly, disable, women and pregnant women. I felt awkward being the only guy there but since my wife is pregnant, I had a legal excuse. Anyway when we entered the train, there was no available seats. a bunch of ladies were seated and some of them saw my pregnant. It was pretty that she is pregnant because she was around 7 months pregnant that time. No one even bothered to give their seat. So I ask myself is this an common normal behavior? So it's ok for a man to give their seat to lady but a lady could not give their seat to another especially a pregnant one? Your thoughts please

I don't know that its common but not all women think that courtesy is beneath them. People in general do make certain ways of showing respect a gender thing like If I happen to step out of line and hold the door open for a male with heavy bags I get strange looks from some people. It shouldn't be that way. Everyone should help each other out regardless of gender.

Sometimes you must consider also their situation, who knows they are also tired and want to seat to be relax for a while. Although we are nice and hospitable individuals but we can't avoid there are situation that we can showed to others our very known attitude. Men can easily offer the seat for any women specially when it is very beautiful. LOL women is hard to do that because of ego and also their feelings. You must understand the situation. Anyway, travelling MRT takes not too long so no need to worry.
