No I haven't tried them yet. I agree that the idea of having chocolate on them makes them seem less healthy, though I haven't read the label to see how much more unhealthy they are. I also like the honey nut Cheerios.. though they also have some sugar in them.

I didn't even think to look at the label. I was just in the store yesterday looking to see if they had the cereal on special and noticed them on the shelf. I wasn't shopping alone otherwise perhaps I would of taken the time to look further perhaps into it.

I am less concerned about calories and more concerned with fat and sugar content.. though when it comes to breakfast I don't care as much because I go to the gym right after anyways to burn it off.. guess it wouldn't hurt to have slightly sugary cereal.

I can't see why they added chocolate to Cheerios?? They have too many flavors of Cheerios as it is, I think. I like the plain old Cheerios they always had. They are really good for feeding babies too as one of their first cookie-type foods. Why add chocolate and mess us a good thing. There are plenty of chocolate cereals on the market already!

I can't see it either especially since they have a more "healthy" appeal than chocolate cereals KWIM? Like you said there's enough chocolate cereal and junk on the market all ready.

hi 3SnuggleBunnies I dont know I thought chocolate now was healthy for
one to eat and a lot of diabetics swear by cheerios so the wise thing
is to do what I always do check the label for the contents, how manycarbs does it give in a servings, sugar is just part of the carbs, and we must have a certain number of carbs in our diabetic diet to thrive and control our blood sugar. so Iam a dyed in the wool label reader. It sounds delicious. and what makes you think your honey nut is not loaded
with sugar, honey is totally carbohydrates and can shoot my blood sugar up really fast. its often use in an emergency low blood sugar just like orange juice to raise blood sugar fast. But if you are not diabetic it won't matter any way.

Well chocolate can be good they say but it's the dark chocolate, you know the kind that is so dark and usually on the bitter side. Most of us are used to milk chocolate... yum!
That's awsome if it helps with your low blood sugars to keep some honey nut cheerios on hand.

I was actually pretty surprised when the chocolate Cheerios came out. I thought they were supposed to be healthy too. I have no intentions of trying the chocolate ones. I know that I wouldn't like them and if I really wanted chocolate cereal then I would probably just buy Cocoa Krispies or Cocoa Puffs.
I love Honey Nut Cheerios too as well as Honey Nut Chex. Give me the healthier stuff with a hint of sweetness anytime. Yummy!

Cocoa Krispies has plenty of chocolate and sugar that's for certain!
I will admit I like my sugared cereals, but I like the few with a hint as well like Honey Nut Cheerios, Honey Bunches of Oats, & Kix.

I have lost 25 pounds and if I put on a pound then I may just slit my throat. If I need cereal then I use skimmed milk and put some nuts and a few raisins in it fr taste and some ground flax seed. The flax seed helps with hunger pangs if you drink enough liquids. Nah! I won't be trying this.If I bought it then I would eat it all up as I cannot resist chocolate

Congrats on the weightloss!
I will attest to flax seed meal being very good for you. I don't know about saying it helps with hunger. But since I don't get enough Omega3's and fiber I do put it in cereal and other meals.
I love chocolate too! Too much!

not yet..if it still tastes "wheaty" under the choclate, that might be nasty.
i think i'd rather stick with the cocoa pebbles if i need chocolate cereal.

I bought them a few months ago for my kids. I thought they were pretty good. I guess they could still be considered healthy because they still have the whole grains and things that make Cheerios good for you in the first place. There is not a whole lot of added sugar to them.

I like the chocolate Cheerios OK, but I'd rather eat the plain.

Hi, 3SnuggleBunnies. I have seen this new cereal in the store. This was last week. I saw it and I still did not buy it. I wanted to buy it for my son, but I changed my mind. It probably does have sugar in it. I love the Berry Burst Cheerios better. I am not too much of a fan of chocolate cereal.
