When it comes to pickles do you like yours sweet and sour like the Bread N' Butter kind or do you like them salty and tart like the Dill kind. My favorite is the Dill. As a matter of fact I just bought a jar of them yesterday.

I like most any kind of good crisp pickle. I also like the pickled little corn cobs. I don't see them in the store much just on salad bars.

Herro Shar19 What an interesting question and I have an answer. It depends on the purpose. I like to eat dills. If it is in egg salad, tuna, on a hamburger...I like bread n' butter. There is a special dill I like and haven't had for a while. Will have to look at the store and see what they are. They are a dill but have another flavor. Oh forgot hot dogs, sweet relish. I do not like dill relish at all. Prosperous mylotting

That makes sense to me. I love pickle relish in my tuna. I actually just started using the relish on my hot dogs too. So good!

I like the bread and butter or sweet pickle. I especially love to eat them when I have a casserole....sometimes they are a bit bland and the pickle is just the pick me up I need to make it more interesting...however I like dill on a tossed salad!

my sister has started putting fruit, like pineapple and strawberries in tossed salads, not bad - if you like those things (pineapple strawberries )

I love love love pickles! I love gherkins in the jar the best. I love all sweet and sour stuff like relishes. I love corn relish on a salad sandwich and I make really good tomato relish that my family is always asking for more of! I have not tried the salty dill pickles you speak of here. They may be an American thing but I would love to try some!

I like pretty much all kinds of pickles. It really depends on what I am eating with them though. My son will only eat the baby gherkins. My daughter loves all of them. The only ones we have right now are the dill ones. Claussens to be exact. The slices.

Ah, pickles! You know, I know it's a cliche but, when I was pregnant with my first son, I craved pickles! Dill, actually. I think my favorite pickle is bread & butter but dill comes in as a close second. I'll eat sweet pickles (those tiny gerkins) occasionally but only if they're put out for me. I don't think I've ever bought any. I haven't seen them for awhile but my sister used to adore sour pickles. They were also those tiny gerkins. I couldn't eat them because they made my jaw lock up.... too sour! I eat at least one pickle a day, usually dill, because I heard that the vinegar in them helps to keep bugs from biting. It may be true because I haven't been bitten by any bugs since I started eating them every day and I'm outside quite a lot.

A lot of people crave pickles during pregnancy. Perfectly normal and yummy! I don't think I have ever bought the gerkins before. I probably tried them somewhere though like at a restaurant. I never heard about the bugs not biting from eating a pickle. Maybe I should try that for the summer to keep the mosquitoes away. I'll have to get the kids to eat them too.

hi Shar19, I like all kinds of pickles, but my favorite is home made Bread N' Butter pickles. I like them on sandwiches, salads and also right out of the jar; just as long as they are cold. Take care Snow

I like them dill, like Polish dills with peppercorns and garlic in them. I like good sweet pickles, too, but never buy them. I'm going to try making Polish dills again this year if my cucumbers do well. I used to make them but haven't in a long time.

I like sweet and I like dill, but I don't care for sour. Mom used to make us pickle sandwiches, with sliced sweet pickles and cream cheese...

That sounds really good. I think I'll try that sometime. We also make pickle treats for New Years. Take a whole pickle, spread cream cheese all around it, then wrap deli ham around it. Then cut into slices. So yummy!.

Hi Shar19! I haven't tried eating pickles in a jar. It's my first time eat pickles when I first came here in US and my husband bought a hamburger. At first, I didn't really like it. As far as I know, in the philippines, there are no pickles in the hamburgers there. But as time goes by, I started to like it. I look forward eating pickles but I like it when it's fresh.

You can get burgers without pickles if you want. Just tell them no pickles.
