Which Laptop to Buy..For Personal Use?

Planning to buy...Personal usage laptop. Unsure as so many brands are there. On what basis should i do my pick?

This site is only worth for people from India, who knows where he is from in first instance. There are a few things you need to watch:
- It's easier to buy from the internet, because it is very easy to compare prices that way (for whensome laptops/computers don't have different statics)
- Watch the processor: Dual core and Quad core (i5 and others are good as well, but will be more costing) are best to have if you want to deal with a lot of programs at the same moment
- Watch the amount of RAM the laptop has. A processor is the most important, but nevertheless the amount of RAM is important as well. Don't think about buying any with less than 512MB (better to buy 1MB+)
- Choose from a shop located in your area: if there is a problem with any device it's always easier to bring it somewhere nearby than in another country.
There sure are other points as well, but since I'm not a pro I can't tell you all, nonetheless, I hope I helped you.

but which is the best brand for home use...its more for surfing and some writing...

You may consider buying netbooks like Redfox Wizbook. They have also notebooks.
