Ponchos! And that was not so long ago either. And mini skirts with high boots. Ripped jeans... The list is very long, but I think some of these fads are better off not mentioned ever again, haha!

the old fads that I still love up to now are the shift dresses and leggings.shift dresses were prevalent in the 60's.I love shift dresses because they are versatile.leggings are prevalent in the 80's.I love leggings because they are very comfortable.I wear them if they aren't in season anymore.

Oh yes, lots! I was a teenager in the 1980s so over here in the UK, girls wore rar-ra skirts (short skirts with layers of frills), bright coloured neon socks in pink and luminous green, lots of bright make up (I remember wearing bright pink and bright blue eyeshadow!), then there was the craze of dressing like Madonna - lots of bangles, lacy gloves, black clothes, chunky jewellery, that kind of thing. Lots of fun!! One time I had my hair dyed blonde then had tramlines shaved either side and dyed blue!!

I was born in the late 1980s in the UK, so unfortunatly I was a Spice Girls wannabe! That meant matching red adidas trackies, skirts over trousers and buffalo shoes. I also remember a denim overload - jeans, shirts, jackets. So not a good look. And exceptionally high ponytails, it made us look more like pineapples than anything else.
I do remember a lot of those awful t-shirt slogans. Did anyone else have the awful tacky rhinestone ones?
So glad i've grown up since then, hopefully i can leave the really bad fashion fads for my embarrasing photo collection.
