Prefer not to choose God?

Although I have no faith of God but my mother does,and she has been a christian for nearly four years.I must accept that having some faith really helps those old ones a lot,when my mother got something troubled then she would pray sinceryly at night and can can calm down after that.No matter the God has really resolved the problems or not,my mother has got a more peaceful mind than before.So thanks to the God very much!

There are no so many Gods/gods. It appears to be so because, religions the world over have come up with answers to life's questions in different ways.Then they had their languages. Different names to refer to God.YHWH,Allah - the "words" to refer to God or that One Supreme Being that Controls whatever happens to this great and varied Creation--- are more than anything else a limitation of our own languages than God as the Reality. Shocked and unbaked religious people the world over are everyday converting Atheism,that is, the idea that there is No God Chance rules(Probabilism or what is called as syadvaada in Jainism), and Science provides [B]all[/B] answers. I belong to a religion rightly called Sanatana Dharma but(unfortunately) popularly known as Hinduism - which is erroneously assumed to be a Polytheistic(!?!)/Pantheistic(this is a bit better) Religion. I dont think the existence of many gods puzzled or irritated me in the least. But I am more irritated by people who claim that their religion is the truest or their God is the real God.I do not know whether to laugh at them or feel immense pity for their ignorance.

I think if someone gets irritated by the talks about God here, I think that's the time he or she needs to move on from here, leave this interest and move on to other interests here in MyLot that don't mention the word God, like politics.

Faith is the word that we have to practice , it is believing in one thing that you have never seen..In every religion this is what they teach most, have Faith in God...So when we talked about God and then we Have different religions,many Gods are being talked here, its hard to insist in one religion your own belief because that starts the conflict..Many God many religion, one Religion One God...the latter will never ever happen...Thanks!

I just give myself a dependence of my inspiration.Don't believe God too much. I prefer not to choose God.But by myself! This is my opinion.

Well, my belif is- that God is omni present. He is all over... Every human being is God in itself, even plats and animals have a part of God in them...

well, i've chosen one God already. and as time walks by, it seems like He had chosen me instead. and i admit, there are lots of thing in this world that i cannot enjoy because of this God and His religion. sometimes i feel like in prison. but it's okay, because this God could suppress my natural killing intent. if i didn't "met" Him, i'm pretty sure that i've become a good and stalky serial killer right now. so in summary, i'm grateful for what He did on choosing me.

Talking about God could enlightened someone. You may never that that someone needs some encouraging and through posting good messages about God, that person has been enlighten. It is also one way of expressing gratitude to the Maker who have created us and for all the provisions He has provided for us without asking in return but to proclaim His gospel.
