What Are You Doing Today?

Well it's the 4th of July and the day begins. We are having about 26 people over to my house for the annual cook out. Everything from ribs and kabobs to hamburgers and hotdogs, can't wait to eat! Than we have the volleyball net set up for some exercise after all the food we eat. We're also lucky that our town decided to do their fireworks tonight instead of yesterday. Everyone is staying to watch the fireworks and we can sit in our front yard, they are right down the street. Pretty nice we don't even have to get out in the traffic! It's a very busy day but very fun. So waht are you guys doing today? Whatever it is I want to wish all of you a happy 4th of July.

I'm so sorry you had rain. We have been blessed the last few years and had some beautiful 4th weather. I start keeping an eye on the weather channel at the start of the week.

Well yesterday was when the town next to us had there fireworks show so we went to a friends house and watched them. The fireworks are over the lake which makes them even cooler. We ate hot dogs, chips, cocktail weenies wrapped in bacon, brownies, rice crispy treats, and a ton of other stuff! It was a lot of fun. Hope your even turns out to be a lot of fun! Happy Mylotting!

Ours did turn out to be alot of fun! I ate way too much food but just couldn't stop. I had to have some of everything, lol. The fireworks were beautiful! I love it that we can sit in my front yard and watch them. All the kids stood by our driveway when it was over telling all the cars passing by to honk for the 4th of July. All you were hearing for a long time were the kids and the car horns, they had a blast. The policeman directing traffic was even laughing at them.

I know how you feel - every year we go to the same family members house and every year we eat lots and lots of food! We like to sit in the friends drive way and watch them. I love that they are over the lake because that is a nice bonus to watching them. Well glad to hear you had fun! Happy Mylotting!

Hi, I just read your topic now and I am about to write what I am doing today. As usual...today is Tuesday, another great day for me.Nothing special, just a routine activity for me. Wake up at 6am,gets ready breakfast for my husband, send my son off to school. Come back home prepare lunch for my son before fetching him back home. Around 4pm,start get ready for dinner as I need to fetch my husband from work around 5.30pm. Around 6.30pm will be our dinner time. Only at night time, I will have some free time to watch TV programme. So is it a boring life? Not really, but pretty routine and I have to go through it. Let's enjoy our life!!

I actually didn't do anything for the 4th of July this year other than call and text a few people and wish them a happy 4th of July. I mostly just stayed in and relaxed. I did, however, go out onto my balcony and watch the fireworks that some of the nearby theme parks (I live near Disney World) were setting off during the night. It was a nice relaxing day for me. I'm glad I got to spend the day like I did. It was good.

We are going to our neighbors for a big July 4th barbecue as well, around 50 people. The main dish is my neighbor makes amazing pit beef sandwiches. They are going to have a water-slide for the kids. The adults will maybe play a game of wiffleball and/or baseball. We also can see fireworks from our neighborhood, which is also nice, the traffic is so bad on July 4th, so glad I don't have to worry about that. I am making something I have never made before, cheesecake ball lollipops dipped in chocolate, so I am hoping they turn out good. I hope everyone has a Happy July 4th, and takes a moment today to remember the troops that give us the freedom to have our fun today.

Hope you had fun yesterday, I know we did. Somehow some of the kids talked me into letting them spend the night so I now have little sleeping bodies spread out in my living room, lol. How did your lollipops turn out? They sound so good. If you don't mind could you give me the recipie?

Hi, kittenclaus. I am going to be at home today. I have no plans to go out anywhere. I cooked some dinner today. We had chicken, macaroni, yams, and fiesta rice. It was very delicious. I did not have anything big planned for today. I am just planning to spend this time with my family.

My relatives are coming over and we are just talking mainly. Before that I went swimming with some friends and watched a couple of DVDs. Though it seems just like any other day. Hope you have a happy 4th of July as well.

Hey kittenclaus, thats a nice way to enjoy the day. I wish i was invited there, haha! Me, i got lots of things to do, little time to relax only. I have to study previous lessons and transfer a few notes i have taken down. I also have to write 3 programming codes but they are short ones and the part where i would take up alot of time is thinking on how to make it run smoothly. Thats all i got to do today after class and i got 8 hrs left to do them before i get ready for the next day.

I watched the Nathan's famous hotdog eating contest on TV. Then I had a burger, fries, and a sundae at a local restaurant, the all American meal. I can't really do anything else because the buses don't run and I'm bus dependent.
