Do morals only exist in a religious context? Or are they man-made through the influences of common-sense, empathy and compassion?

Yesofcourse... Moral is a part of religion. Nowhere else can we find moral in real life.

Morals only exist in a religious context only to those who don't believe otherwise. If you continue to do evil without ever turning to God for guidance, your heart will have a seal placed on it that will cause you to drift further and further away from God. If you make an effort to believe, thereby bringing yourself closer to God, you can't help but to have morals in every sense (whether religious or otherwise) because God surrounds anything that has a strong base for good intentions. I hope I get a best response plus!!
