Have you been a collector when you were young?

I collected different kinds of plastic cooking set. lol I had a lot! I had plates in different sizes and colors, I had glass that also comes in different colors and other stuff in the cooking set. I bought cooking set every week from my allowance but I was too sad one day when I discovered someone stole it. It could be one of my playmates. After that, I didnt try to collect anymore.

when i were young i used to collect coins and stickers and i put them in different styles.

Oh yes, I collected a lot of different things as a kid. There were cards they used to give away with chewing gums. I don't have them anymore and I think they would be worth quite a lot of money now. There were also stamps that I collected from all over the world. My brother-in-law used to work with the ships in the local docklands and he knew most of the captains who would give him stamps from their country that he gave to me. I don't have them any more either. I don't know what happened to them. And I collected trains and other stuff for my Hornby Dublo train set. Guess what... I don't have that either! All gone, probably given away to others when I left home. _Derek

Until now I still have those stamps that I've collected when I was 10 years old; I gave it to my daughter but I was the one who keep it for her. I remember when I was about 9 me and my younger sister collected stones; not just ordinary stones but those fossil stones. Sometimes we fought over the stones. When we transferred to another place, our father told us to leave the stones so there's nothing we could do. When we went back, I have already a daughter of 6 years old, the stones were still there. Now I've heard that the one who bought the lot has appreciated our collections and keep the stones.

i used to collect books,stickers and keychains.colorful stickers with various themes, keychains from different places and different genres of books including comics and novels.i still collect those things and most of them are keep clean and neat in my room.

When i was young i collect magazine and try to collect money and coins but i lost on day my collections on money!

I used to be an enthusiast philatelist too, when I was young. I even mail out stamp purchase request to the post office master in other states in Malaysia. I was surprised to get hospitable response from the staff working there and they did mailed me the stamps! I was so elated because I can complete the collections of stamps from various states in my country. Imagine in the 90's the cell phone and internet were so unfamiliar to us. I did collect some coins, but it's just in small numbers. Unfortunately, both my stamps and coins collection are lost.

hi harold oH yes I collected rocks and was a real rockhound all my life really. I learned the names of various rocks, and labeled them.' and now sadly they are in storage again. I also started collecting beanie babies a few years back and have my collection here in my room. Some of them now are rare and worth a little too.I have about forty and perhaps twenty of them are p eeping out at me from this large basket as I type here.Porky the pig is an especially cute one and Ihave a Garfield the cat too. Garfield the comic strip has always been one ot my favorites. I do have some geodes with crystals inside on my night stand here and baby tears a form of black obsidian,pink quartz and an amethyst in natural rock. the rest is all in storage.

I still collect things. I currently collect rocks, lighters, coins and political bumper stickers. I used to collect marble eggs for some reason when I was younger, but I got bored with that.

I used to collect baseball cards. I even had a big binder filled with baseball card protector sheets and it was full with cards. After a while I also started to collect basket ball cards. I also had a small collection of Spider man after my half brother gave me some and then my step moms friend had a son who brought down some boxes full of Archie comic books for me to read and I started getting those every time too.

I've been a collector of Tweety stuffs it was even actually an issue when I have been in New York since I bought the Tweety Bird doll for $48 in Warner Bros. So therefore obviously that is a signature doll. Right now I am only collecting softwares that I need for my graphic design tools.

I used to collect action heroes text card like superman, aquaman and batman. I still have it in my collection box

Oh the life of being a collector... I liked it very much! Though I've never been that systematic in my hobbies, I have to say. I started collecting something, and then, as soon as I found another interest, completely forgot about the previous one... I collected phonecards for almost a year. When mobile phones weren't popular, in Italy there were these kind of cute phonecards with different images - animals, landscapes, pretty pics of girls and boys dressed in weird ways, cartoons and so on. I liked them very much, they were so colorful. Then, I completely forgot about phonecards (lol) and started to collect keychains, of every shape and from a lot of different countries, many friends and relatives brought me them from their holidays. That collection lasted pretty much, I like it still today, and often I look at my keychains and decide which one to use.

Well,your addiction to stamps and coins can not only afford you good fun,but also provide you with lots of various knowledge about history and culture,right? It must be amazing eperience! When I was young,I used to collect Barbie dolls.I combed hair,made beautiful dresses and doing make-up for them.It was very enjoyable experience during my little girl time and precious memory like treasure for me. Although I am adult right now,I still buy some lovely dolls occasionally.It seems that I am fascinated with all the delicate things all the time.

It seems to me that i was always collecting something. When I was younger, I was very much into rock collecting. I have collected a few stamps over the years too. One of my greatest collecting hobbies is dolls. I have several dolls that I have collected over the past 30 years. I am still collecting them today.

Hello! I've been a collector of different stuffs when i was young as well. I used to collect stamps, stationaries, wrappers of different chocolates and figurines of angels. I didn't collect stuffs at the same time. All of them have they're own special time in my life. My very first collection was different stationaries because i really love their smells and designs. I kept them in a special clear plastic and put them in a box after ive seen and arrange them everyday. Next that i collected was stamps from different parts of the world, i used to ask my sister to give me stamps because his boyfriend before was a seafarer so he traveled many countries because of his line of work. Im very very happy each time ive seen new countries who added up on my lists. My sister gave me an album especially for stamps and up to now. I still have them with me. Next was my chocolate wrapper collection, i love chocolates really so i began to collect them but my interest with them vanished easily so i throw them all away easily. Last among all my collections was my angel figurines. Who could resist their cuteness? I love them really and i still have them till now. Good night!

i remembered 2 things that i've collected. they are tabloids, one called "hoplaa" and the other was "fantasi". i liked them because they contains games, mangas, and animes articles. but then, hoplaa is stopped being published, while fantasi becomes more mature and contains more teen stuff, so i stopped collecting them.
