Are you a jump out of bed and get to it person. Or do you lay about for a bit before getting started. I am a morning person. I get more done before noon than alot of people do all day. I like to relax in the evening and go to bed early.
What is your personality like?
Research has shown that morning people are more optimistic, proactive and conscientious.
Yet later risers are more creative, intelligent, humorous and extroverted.

My eyes are very light in color- they are blue/grey/green - they rotate colors -one day can be a mix of all 3, the next is just one of the colors.. but they are so light that I take in more light than a normal persons eyes would.. i don't know if theres a special name for it. I remember when the eye doctor told me about it, but i don't remember him using a special word or name or something..
I don't know if its very common either..
I know its hard to go outside -whether its from in my house, or from a store - I have to walk outside, and close my eyes for a few seconds then try to open and see if they have adjusted enough for me to walk to the car. lol its like I'm literally blinded for the first few min.., but even after that its still hard to see...
The night is my love. As I said, its really really beautiful. I live in Arizona, and most nights you can see a lot of the sky. Its really really gorgeous. Especially if you know what your looking at, you can see Venus some nights.. And some nights you can see Jupiter (but only if you know what your looking at), and while other nights you can see the ISS (International Space Station) crossing your sky. Plus its quiet, peaceful.. I wrote a poem about it...
I am a child of the night.
The dark sky, the bright stars
The peace and quiet that comes with it
The quiet, restful state the world goes into
The night is for rest,
Relaxation
Restoration
Peace
The night is for me
I prefer night to the day
The calmness of it all
The day is for others
The hustle of the business people
I am a child of the night
After the day is done
I have just begun
To enjoy the quiet beauty of the night.

Night person for sure, I've never been the kind of person who liked waking up early in fact I usually only wake up early when there somthing important to do in the morning and even still dont like it but I make sure I would wake up on time to take care of whatever daily activity that needed to be done but dont like waking up early I like evenings though in fact I'm a bit more alert at night.

Maybe a little I'm definitely humorous and creative that part is true.
But the study kind of implies that night people are slow getting out of bed making it seem as if a night person is lazy and unmotivated and thats not true with a capital N for NOT haha.
I'm not lazy at all in fact I'm very much motivated to spite my cercumstances and if there's something exiting or important to do during the early morning I will definitely get up for it, but on a regular day that contains no big or important activity's to do I prefer not to wake up early for me there has to be somthing exiting or important happening that day to make me want to wake up early so I dont think the study is completely accurate because people are much more complex then that, and no one person is the same. just because a person my not like getting up early and prefer the evening dosent necessarily mean there unmotivated or lazy.

I am a night person. I stay up between 12am to 3am at times. Just depends if I have insommia. I stay up late to watch my tv shows. My son watches tv during the day when he is not outside playing. I get up in the morning at times at 9am other times between 10am or 12pm. It takes me a few minutes to get up. I like to slowly wake up. this is my schedule until school starts again this fall for my son who is going into the 1st grade. then I will start going back to bed by 10pm and getting up at 7am to get him ready and cross the street and drop him off at school. I love living so close to the school.

Its a lot harder for me to concentrate during the morning time it takes several hours for me to be fully functional. Come to think about it im pretty tired at night time to i guess im more of an afternoon person lol.

That's interesting. I didn't know that about morning and night people.
I'm a night person. It takes me awhile to wake up and become social in the morning. However, the later it becomes, the more alive I feel. I have so much energy at night and I love to do everything right before I go to bed.

I don't think I'm outgoing. In fact, I'm really introverted. I like to think of myself as creative, though. :)

I am someone who like to keep myself busy from morning till evening and at night sometimes too busy. But lately my body is often tired and from now on, I reduce my busyness, especially at night. After nightfall, I sit and relax while watching TV to bed early to get good quality sleep. Thus the next day I could do the activity with a fresh mind and effort really good.

I can be either a morning person or a night person. My wife is a night person. I can go to bed early and get up early or I can stay up late and get up late. It just depends on what's going on the next day and whether I need to get up early or not but most often times I'm a night person.

I am a morning person. In fact, I wake up at around 6 am. By then, I am already taking my coffee. The only time perhaps that I take longer to rise up from bed is during weekends since I stay around long in bed since mostly I do not have any work to do. Usually, at night, I am at home with my family, unless I am out of town. My work usually entails training people and with this, I travel from time to time.

Im definitely a NIGHT person. I go to bed around 5 or 6AM and get up at noon or later on the weekends. I usually workout when I get up, then I have breakfast, then sort of slow down a bit until I start to work at 2PM here at home on my pc.
I finish work at 8PM, drive to dad's to do his washing, cleaning and cooking then drive back home around 10-11PM. I come home, we eat, then I do our washing, cleaning or cooking here. Then we relax in front of the tv, shower and off to bed.
We keep the same hours on the weekends and we have been night owls for seven years now and we wouldnt go back to daytime anymore!!
So Im not sure if I can qualify as a morning or night person as you tell it!!!

Sometimes I can get up early as soon as my alarm goes off and other times I turn it off and go back to sleep. Im ok if I "have" to be up like if I have a bus to catch etc. I can relax in the evening as well and usually go to bed abround 12 after Law and Order SVU.

I was a morning person some years ago. It is indeed very nice to wake up early in the morning. I like to wake up early in the morning and sit for prayers. It is such a beautiful experience. But to wake up early in the morning one must go to bed early. One must have a proper sleep of 8 hours so that one can wake up early in the morning. But in my case it is has become very difficult for me to wake up early in the morning. The reason being i go to bed very late. I work late hours in my office That's the reason why i reach home very late and by the time i am through with my freshen Up and eating food, its already 12. So i sleep late and wake up by 8 in the morning. But i want to change my routine and get back to waking up early in the morning.

I think I belong to the sort of people called night person as u refer here......
Well,I do like the name---"night person",the reason why I'd like to get up later for a while is maybe I'm a pretty lazy guy in this aspect,or I need much more time than others to make me come to myself from sleeping(the colded the more)-----quite tactful excuse, right??
TO be honest,I'm a guy who is quite prone to the former type u mention here, coz I'm not a forward guy and like to do something cling to rules and experience---lack of innovation...........

I'm one of those night person. I can do much more during at night, maybe i could say that i'm more active and efficient during night. I don't get easily sleepy at night, so i really have more plenty of time doing things. Sometimes when i'm cramming on something like a project for tomorrow, i can stay up all night until morning rises doing it.
Thanks for the topic
Much respect

I'm definitely a night owl. In fact, it's 9 am and I haven't even been asleep tonight! It's almost to the point where its just a bit ridiculous. I agree with the research thing though. I'm definitely not an optimist, haha. But I'm one of the most creative, intelligent, and humorous people I know, not to be conceited. However, I'm absolutely not extroverted, so I have no idea where that came from.
It's extremely hard to get me up in the morning, and when I'm up, I'm absolutely scary to be around. I just want to sit there quietly and doze off back to sleep.
