Network monitor for ubuntu server / myLot

Hi guys, is anyone know there is network monitor software that can be applied on Ubuntu Server, I'm using ubuntu server 8.0 edition as a router and I would like to monitor all client connections on this server/router computer. Thank you for sharing. Cheers..

i think you can try nagios, is very powerfull for network monitoring.

i am in a small confusion but i think client monitor is help ful to you because it show you the connections.but is it available for ubuntu or not i dont know i used this in xp servers.so let try for client monitor

I would like to use open source application since I can't effort for commercial O/S or commercial programs. Now I'm running ubuntu server in text mode, I've once using GUI ubuntu and intasll etherape for network monitor in graphical view. Well, tons of freeware/open source program out there and I wish to maximizing my ability in open source, so I need much much help for this Thank you for sharing :)
