Ive been cleaning my facebook account for people who i didnt know that I added way way before it started. Every week ive been deleting people that i dont know and everytime i do it.. friends request from people i dont know also floods up. Most of the time If i found out that we have a common friend and i know that common friend i tend to ask the person whats the reason why his adding me... as you can see facebook is flooded with posers and users and also people who will use you for their own benefit.
I dont want to be mean to anyone. As much as possible I wanted to get and know new friends but with this I dont know if it works.
Please tell me what to do.. I just IGNORED half of the request two days ago but now its moving up to 1000 friends requests.. funny.. hehehe

You have a thousand requests? You must be popular, huh? I don't get that much friend requests. I don't add people I don't know, and I suggest you do the same because that's the safe thing to do. There are lots of online predators, so we all have to be very careful not to be victimized.

Same here, I ignore those the requests of those that I reallyd don't know because I don't know their intention why they are adding me. So to avoid problems, I'd rather not add them. I also delete friends whom I accepted but I don't really know. I think that would be safer. Because in facebook you might just be screwed up by people you don't know really.

i also have the same problem before thats the reason why i put my profile in private mode nor only friends can see nor look at my profile. even if you search it in facebook you cant see it coz its hihden with those not my friend though they can send me message. you have an option to change your privacy anyway so that no one can access your account but just your friends.

once I was playing Pet Society in facebook and the secret to make money there was to have as much active friends as possible, so I kinda added random active people who I didn't even know just to get more money in Pet Society, that's one example, the people add others for the games in facebook.
But some people do it to feel more popular..

hey satz, thanks for responding anyway.. yeah its really hard.. hahaah.. there's this one person i ignored and i didnt notice that she is my classmate in college.. hahaahah.. shes mad but i explain it to her why.. so she added me again hahaha.. and then sent me a message prior to adding it so i confirm and where friends now.. heheheeh

Wow... 1000 friends request... you must be interesting anyway... hehehe... I think it so annoying to see more and more comment from the people that I don't know, and may be you feel the same. But some people sometimes have a pride to show them a lot aof friend on facebook, even they don't know all of they friends... LOL

I think if people keep trying to add you even though you just ignored their request a few days ago then you should block them completely and then they cant add you again and they cant message you or anything! I did have this one guy trying to add me for a while over and over so I just blocked him. (I didnt know him and he was just sending me flirty messages even though Im in a Relationship)

I guess you're a wanted man....Haha. I get friend requests all the time and I don't know who they are. Some I ignore and some I asked who they are and what they want with me.
Some are friends of friends who are just looking for more game friends, I usually accept them but the ones that don't even know why they request me or who I am I ignore
