I am in a dilemma of starting WOW or not.The biggest problem I am thinking is the money I will have to pay for it.I am playing Runescape and I have become many times and from what I know Runescape is a copy of WOW,although I like RS a lot,I have to admit it.So does it really worth it to hive up Runescape and start WOW?Because if I start playing WOW,I wouldn't spend my time and money playing RS.

i just stopped playing WoW after almost 6 years, and yes it's a very fun game, but once you get to max lvl unless you raid/instance all the time, or do dailies EVERY day, or farm for mats and stuff, there's not much to do but lvl up another character...i personally have 1 lvl 80 and many alts of lower lvls, highest is 63 i think the next highest is 19 the others are lower i got into collecting pets and mounts, on my main (the lvl 80) i have 107 pets and 101 mounts, i have some really rare pets/mounts too, the hyacinth macaw (1/5000 drop) was given to me during original wow by a friend of mine, time-lost proto drake mount, rivendare's deathcharger, white hawkstrider, the raven lord...i have all of the whelpling pets (crimson whelpling, emerald whelpling, dark whelpling, frosty, netherwhelp, proto-drake whelp and onyxian whelpling) but that's not what you're asking about lol it's really up to you, if YOU feel you wanna spend 15 (give or take) a month then that's what you should do, but i'd advise against it if you're hurting for money right now, especially in this economy

well like i said, it's really up to you but as an ex-wowaholic i'd say don't, ignoring the monthly cost, you also have to think about the time you'd be investing into the game, there's been many a time that i've spent almost all night playing...even during high school i'd be on 'til 2am sometimes and get up at 6 am for school i'm not saying you'll get as hooked, maybe you're stronger than i was, but just as a warning, it's VERY addicting

Actually I live in Greece where the economy is much worse than the other developed/developing countries.People don't have money to pay their house upkeep and they are taking loans which will make the things worse.I am a little luckier.I am working at cafeterias,I work online I think I can keep up,but only if it is really worth it.

I need to figure out what games you are playing because I haven't seen them, but preoccupying your mind with nothing else but money is not good for your health!. I can even imagine your functioning socially could be a problem, if you are married, your wife or hubby could even smash your computer because you think about nothing but playing your money game. Get some counseling!

All I said is that I've been playing RS and I have become a member for one or two months and I am wondering if i should switch to WOW.So what I am asking you is if it does worth its money and if yes if it is worth to pay so much more money that I spent on RS to play for a few hours a week?where is the problem with that

If you're a gamer and you have time to burn then spending $15 for WoW is definitely worth it. What I suggest is you get a job or something to pay for your newfound online addiction. Yes, I did say addiction, because that is what you'll get once you engage this VERY addictive game.

Yes, you should try the free trial of WoW and you will see that the game is really very nice and worth the time and money. Haven't tried RS but still i have to go for WOW!

i use to play RS a few yers back, and then i got into wow. i would have to say start playing wow no questions asked. the world is huge theres alot of things to keep you busy in wow. making guilds, PVP, leveling, dungeon finder, frost emblems etc, for $15 month, or $35 every 2 months with a time card its deffintley worth it download the trail for 10 days see if you like it.

RS is the worst game ever after you try wow. :D really. It really worth of money, i promise you that. But still if you are unsure, why don't you try 10 day trial? It's free.

If you have the money to spend $15 a month, I would definitely advise switching to WoW over Runescape. The graphics, gameplay, and everything in WoW is one hundred times greater than it is in Runescape. WoW would definitely be in my Top 2 MMORPGs that I've ever played. It's an awesome game through and through and it's just incredibly fun. As I said, if you have the money to spend, it's worth it.

It is a great game to get into, the only thing is that you will only be playing this game basically or else you will be losing $15 a month. If you are more into Xbox 360 or PS3, this is not a game for you. If you cannot afford it, you can also try Dungeons and Dragons Online and other games like that. They are not as good, but they are free, so you are getting what you pay for, which in this instance is nothing.

If you are willing to pay $15 a month to play WoW over RS then do it. RS is an outdated game. WoW is by far better than RS. If you have no problem getting addicted to a game then WoW is for you. If you can i suggest getting some friends to start it with you to level together and such. Games are way more fun to play when doing so with friends. Also keep in mind that you have to buy the actual game and expansions to play. Once you buy those then it's $15 a month. Also another expansion will be coming out soon and that will be like another $40-$50. Its pricey to get started, but fine after that. In addition some people actually make money by playing WoW. They make accounts and level characters just to sell them. So if you get good at it and enjoy it you could make money if you're willing to continuously start back over again.
