I think everyone has something they dream about doing.
I've followed a few dreams in my life, like returning to school, having a job I loved, getting married and having a family.
Right now, my dream is to sell this house, maybe go on a nice vacation.
What is your dream? Have you accomplished your dream? Are you working on it? If not, why not?

So far, I have gotten married, and bought a house, but I have not managed to accomplish my other dreams. I want to be a successful real estate and stock market investor, and I want to buy myself a nice dual-purpose boat that I can fish on and that has a cabin I can spend the weekend on when I want to.

Hi goldeneagle...thanks for replying
Sounds like you are off to a good start. I don't think we ever stop working toward our dreams, and we finally fulfill them, new ones come and take their place. Get your realtor's license, and the stock market invester and the boat will come. Good luck.

Well, I am working towards it. I also want to change my field of work, and in order to do that, I need to study, so I need to save money to do this fulltime. I am not saving huge amounts for this, since I am also saving for several other things, but I am saving for it at least!
I am also currently planning my wedding, which could be seen as a dream as well, I guess...

My dream during childhood is to be an scientist. Unfortunately, such profession in our country is very limited and do not have good prospect. So, I ended up being an engineer. It's not bad, but is still different from what I wanted to be.
After working for years, my current dream is to achieve financial freedom. It's because I realized that, in order to fulfill a lot of dreams, finance is one of the key factor. So, now I am working hard to improve my financial intelligence.

Hi Lacieice,
I've got a whole list of dreams that I want to persue and I'm slowly working through them all! It might take me a while but I really want to complete everything on my list.
How close are you to achieving your dream?

I know what you mean about selling a house - my mum and dad have given up selling their's for now. How long have you been trying to sell yours?
Wow Las Vegas, I've heard it's fantastic, when are you hoping to do that?

Hi lil...thanks for your response.
I think all of us have a lot of dreeams we would like to achieve. I have achieved some, and sometimes you don't even know it's a dream until the opportunity comes up.
Your dreams change over the years, the things you dream of take on a new meaning. Right now, I want to sell this house and get out of where we're living, but that isn't going too well. If it does happen, maybe I can fulfill another dream of mine...going to Las Vegas. I'm not a real big gambler, but I would love to see the place...I hear it's amazing.

My dream has always been to become a teacher but it has taken me a long time to get here. I just recently was accepted into the Bachelor and I've got about 3 1/2 years to go! Just thinking about how good it will be when I am a teacher keeps me motivated.

Hi coffeeshot...thanks for responding
You are still quite young and have lots of time. I went to college when I was almost twice your age and found a great job. You will complete your dream and have a wonderful time educating people. Good luck!!!!!!

for me dreams have always been ambitions rather than fairy imaginations.. I could not direct my education in path of my dreams, because of some genuine reasons. nevertheless I still have opportunities to be in its path. I know that I would never achieve the target, but still its great to be in its path. I wont be a professional but can continue being a poet by hobby.
