Do you mind sharing the reasons why you want to help people?

The main reason is that it makes me feel I am needed.
And this reminds me that my existence will make a difference,trivial though, to the world.
So what about you, my dear loving-help-people lotters?

Now, I don't like to help people. Because I understand now, this world filled with evils, and bad - intention people around us. I just detest all of them. Even your good friend gonna stab you behind your back. That just not right, and I hate to be a nice guy ever again. That is who we are, how people shape another person to be. I lost my trust on people, on friends. I am not going to help them anymore.

I like helping people because it makes me happy when others are happy. If other people are upset, I feel really sad and guilty, so I guess it's a somewhat selfish thing that I want to help people. I want to feel better, so I make others feel better.
