Re-reading books. What book are you re-reading right now?

I know there are a lot of books to read out there but every now and then, I would re-read a book just because it's good and I love it. I've read Emily Giffin's Something blue like 4 times. And Harry Potter books like twice each. :D I have some books I haven't even started reading yet. I guess I just like how it looks on my shelf. Right now, I'm re-reading Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows because the movie is coming up soon.

'Chasing Harry Winston' by Lauren Weisberger. I am re reading it because I am right now at my in-laws house and I don't have time to go and buy new books or to go to the library.

I started on her book with 'The Devil wears Prada'. Though I admit I haven't read another one of hers yet other than Chasing Harry Winston. It's a girly book but interesting. Have you read the Shopaholic Series and any other from Sophie Kinsella? I enjoyed them and I would recommend them.

I haven't read any of the Shopaholic books. I wanted too. But a good friend of mine told me it wasn't really that good. And she and I have the same taste in books so I trusted her advice. :)

I'm re-reading Twilight: Eclipse just to revive the intensity of the story. I just have this habit of reading the book first before watching the movie adaptation. It's great too see the book coming to life specially when the movie gave the book justice. As we all know the movie won't tell or show it all to be exact. But still, it's a good feeling when movies bring your imaginations to life.

I have just finished all the twilight books and i was so fascinated, they are such well written and you can form such a bond with the story. When i first read twilight i couldnt put it down i couldnt believe just how brilliant they were compared to the films, so i went out and bought the rest of them and now im re reading the first one. Absorlutly brilliant.

I'm a big reader, but I rarely re-read books. There are just so many NEW books that I've never read before that I want to read. I always find myself gathering up a huge pile of books waiting to be read. Granted, I go through it pretty fast, but it's always there. I did re-read an old favorite, "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle, a few weeks ago. I'll probably re-read the Lord of the Rings trilogy once I'm finished with my current stack. It seems to stay the exact same height no matter how many books I did though...

I have the same habit...collecting as many books as I can then not have time to read it. I have about 4-5 books that I should be reading rather than re-reading

I like the reading of my subjects books. I have repeated my subject books (Integrated Electronics, Microprocessors, VLSI, Web designing, Political Science, Public Administration) manytimes.

At the moment I am not re-reading any books; but there's a book I re-read at every Christmas. It is Winter Solstice by Rosemund Pilcher. I like the story ending with happy ending - but hey, that's a Christmas story. It is about a new beginning for each participant that surely comes if you are openhearted and ready for acceptance. There is also some romance in it but not in the sappy-sweet style I would dislike. I also admire the crystal-clear structure of the book. Other favorite books of mine I have re-read several times are James Herriot's omnibus. I am fortunate enough to read all the four volumes he wrote: All Creatures Great & Small; All Creatures Bright & Beautiful; All Creatures Wise & Wonderful; The God Lord Made Them All. I prefer the first volume best. As far as I know a film was also shot based on his stories. James Herriot was a vet, living and working in Yorkshire from around the 30s to the 60s - if I am not mistaken. Each of his stories is about curing an animal patient while describing the farmers and farmlands, the country life and landscape alike. His stories are both heart-warming and hilarious. A perfect choice for someone who is in blue.
