Before the world cup, maybe you know who is Thomas Mueller or not. Now he is very famous in the world cup. Midfielder Thomas Mueller was named Man of the Match on Saturday as Germany defeated Uruguay 3-2 to clinch third place in the 2010 World Cup here on Saturday. It was Mueller's fifth goal for the tournament, on par with Uruguay's Diego Forlan and Spain's David Villa and Dutchman Wesley Sneijder. I like this feeling, if you want to prove yourself you can show your ability on big stage. Meanwhile you can get the chance, that's good.

Yes, undoubtedly Mueller has been the find of the tournament. As per the estimates, his value before the world cup was around 10 million Euros, now it has sky rocketed to 39 million Euros!! He has had a wonderful year both with Bayern Munich and now with the German national side and he is all of 20 years. I think he has at least 3 more world cups in him if he can maintain form and fitness!!
Cheers!

You are right, I have not aware of Thomas Muller before the tournament. The young upstart that I am looking out was Mesut Ozil. However, Muller certainly out to stardom in the tournament and even overtake Ozil as the young player of the tournament. To think Muller only made his international debut this year. Certainly he future is bright.

I thought Germany did well I just wish they would have made it all the way to the finals. Thomas Mueller is a good player but it just wasn't good enough to defeat Spain

I think for me this young German team has two new stars in their ranks- Mueller and Ozil. Both are very young and have very bright futures ahead of them. This young team has also proved that they can perform equally well without their well known stars like Ballack, Klose and Podowlski not playing. This is very heartening for the German coach as it just goes to show that his bench strength is very good as well.
