I have had a stress induced rash for over a year now. It is horrible. I am sure I could go to some specialist and get a prescribed ointment to put on it. I went to the doctor and was given a prescription. It didn't work well at all. It put this waxy film over the area and was icky. I started using Merlot which is a natural beauty cream with grape seed oil in it. It works like a gem!

where do you get the merlot cream and grape seed oil, and is the cream called merlot only?

I have pretty bad acne. I'm 19 years old. It's gotten better, but I also have scars from acne as well. It really stinks. I hate having acne. I use ProActiv and a prescription cream I use at night. They don't work wonders, but they do help alittle.

I am 25, and I am still breaking out like I did when I was 15. I use everything under the sun, and none of it works or helps out for me. I have even tried eating healthier and reducing my stress and I am still battling that acne.

My son, who is 15, uses Clearskin Professional by Avon. It is really really good and has cleared up his acne very well. He has been using it for about a year or so. http://jalkilani.avonrepresentative.com/ This is what the site says about it... "Formulated with an exclusive blend of key ingredients: - Salicylic Acid* OTC active treatment to clear, reduce & help prevent acne blemishes. *Scrub & Lotion only. - Glycolic Acid An effective skin retexturizer. - Exclusive Zinc Hexapeptide-11 Designed to help control surface oil in oily-prone skin."

I do not have these issues anymore but I used to when I ate poorly. Since I gave up eating dairy, meat and other fatty, oily foods the acne went away. There is a friend of mine called Fran who has written an ebook on clearing up acne. She used to suffer really badly from it, but she has cured it herself without any expensive treatments. There is a banner on my MyLot profile page which says "Cure Acne By Changing What You Eat." This will lead you to her site where you can find out more info about her.

I suffered with it very badly as a teen. There was nothing on the market back then that worked. Now in my 40's it's cleared up just in time to be replaced by the wrinkles (figures) My son had success with Proactive though. You might want to try that. I ordered it through the internet. Also avoid fried food and soda and chips

I too am in my 30's & still get break outs...however being female, it's more of a hormonal thing for me...I find the best you can do is try to cut out alot of fatty foods & drink plenty of water...I also use Neutrogena cleanser morning & night while I have a shower & this helps keep my skin clean & I have less break outs...I have heard that proactiv is really good, I started a discussion on proactiv about a month ago if you want to read the feedback I got from that.

I am 30 going on 31. I know everyone would hate me when I say this - I rarely had problems with acne except when I was in my late teens and that too not so bad. Now, before you all curse me to hell, I did have a huge problem battling acne when I was pregnant with my first child in 2007. It started when I was in my second trimester and stayed with me till the baby was 6 months old. After that, they cleared on their own. I did not use anything as nothing seems to help. Being pregnant, I didn't have to go out much anyway, so I just left it. I do think that it is hormonal thing. I was advised once by a Clinique therapist not to use Facial Scrub. I was buying a Clinique Facial scrub as part of Clinique 1-2-3 thing. She told me that Scrubs can push the dirt further into the skin and make it worse. She advised me not to use scrubs more than once a week even if the product label says 'Safe to use everyday'.
