To be prefectly honest, although there are a few talented acts on the show, I really don't see anyone worth a million and an act in Vegas. Seems like they are scraping the bottom of the barrel this year.

I totally agree with you on that. In fact I'm really not sure I'm going to continue watching. They got me so upset last week when they let go of the Puerto Rican Opera singer. He was so good meanwhile they let stupid acts go through. Most of these acts could not have a show in Las Vegas so why do they let them through?

Well I do not go out of my way to view the show but sometimes while channel surfing I may fall upon it and watch. I am amazed at what some people do that they even think is "talent". Others are really remarkable. I haven't seen anything too weird that they have allowed to go on further in the competition. So far I have found that the talent that went on did have an edge in the talent department. I will keep watching however to see if I can find something that seems out of sorts that they have let go on.

And the winner for 2010 is Michael Grimm. I think he's a good choice. Jackie, the little opeaa singer is very good, but she needs time to grow and learn to protect her voice. I really liked Prince Poppycock, too. He is the ultimate showman. I did learn something though...about the million dollar prize. They don't really get a million dollars up front. It comes in the form of an annuity that matures in 40...yes that is forty...years, so they actually get $25,000 a year for forty years. That's not quite as exciting as winning a straight up million. If they have the option of choosing cash up front, they would get somewhere between $425,000 and $450,000. Otherwise, Michael Grimm, who is 30, will get his last check when he is 70. Bummer. By the way...he was on Ellen this morning, and he proposed to his girl, Lucy. She accepted.

Well, the last four semi-finalists will be picked tonight...who do you think they will be? There are a few I like, so I'm not sure who will make it. Believe it or not, I like Prince Poppycock...he has a tremendous operatic voice, and I think he's a great showman. The guys with the electric show are pretty good, too. I think the 12-year old ballroom dancers are great, but I don't know if they'll make it, and the singer (can't remember his name) had a bad night last night, so he may be out. I think the guy with the saw, Rudy, has a shot, but Murry the magician has him beat by a mile. So I guess my favorites are Prince Poppycock, Murry, the electric guys, and the kid dancers. what about you? who are your favorites?

ya, i always watch that show. America's Got Talent is a British-owned American reality television series on the NBC television network. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers. Ya, there are some weird people and able to go Hollywood, because they got TALENT, that whats this show for..^^

I have been watching "America's Got Talent", but I am not that impressed with the singing talent this year. I think that the singers could be better.

I think America's Got Talent this year was better than last year. Last year they let a lot of real talent go home but this year a lot of my favorites got through to Hollywood. Like the pair of sisters who were sick but great singers or that couple who danced while rock climbing. Some performances are a little or more than a little weird (ie. the guy who put a nail through his tongue) but those people definitely have talent.

I agree that they get some very strange people with some very strange acts! I can't believe some of them actually get voted through to Hollywood by the judges. Sometimes I do not know what they are thinking.

I love watching America's Got Talent. We always record it and watch it later. We were just watching some from last week. I don't know how some of the people make it through to the next round. Maybe they just make for good TV and they let them hang around for another week.

I watch it when I remember it's on. Yes I can't figure out why they let some of them through. The guy who did imitations was pretty bad I think.
