What would you prefer Intel or AMD?

What you prefer for your pc? Intel processor or AMD processor? And anybody here knows the latest processor of AMD and Intel?

I personally prefer Intel because I think it's faster but to tell you the truth, I honestly don't know as I've never had a computer with AMD.
I think the latest processors for Intel are: Intel i3, i5 and i7. I have a Intel i7 laptop and it's amazingly fast with turboboost and everything. (:

i7. If you really want THE newest and fastest, get the 2010 Intel i7 Extreme OC (overclocked).

Intel. Intel is way faster, and AMD runs pretty hot. I have had a few Intel computers before, and they ran fine, this is my first AMD computer and I hate it. Can't wait to get a new one. as for the latest, Intel's would the the 2010 i7 extreme, AMD's is the Thuban. I am not totally sure it is out yet, but it is a hexa-core processor (6 cores instead of the i7's 4) but the speed is still supposed to be roughly the same as the i7, but you would need applications that use all 6 core, very few of which are out right now.
