Cash out and Close Down!

Is anyone else having this epiphany? Or am I totally nuts? Anyway, I decided that I would like to seriously simplify the amount of websites I'm "earning" on, or rather - sites that I have a small amount of money on, that is pretty much going no where. Some of these are PTC sites, PTP sites, other GPT sites, and so on.. That I never use (but used to use a little bit). In total, I probably have about $10 floating around sites in my accounts that I'd like to cash out and close down the accounts with. What do you think? I'm thinking that I want to consolidate, because I have about 3 sites I use and love (MyLot, ChaCha, Opinion Outpost, and Treasure Trooper) - and that's really all I need. What do you thinK?

If you're not using the sites, just use them to make payout & then once you have cashed out, if I were you, I'd just delete my account. I have the opposite problem, I keep accumulating sites...My theory is, the more sites I'm a member of, the more money I hav to potentially make. At the same time, I don't do all of my sites regularly as I need to set up my routine again. If you ar happy with the 4 sites that you listed, just delete your account once you reach & recieve your pay out. I hope this helps.

I like your theory & wish I could do the same but silly me won't give up any of my accounts until I have reached payout so I know if they pay or not.

But that's also a good system. As soon as you get paid from them, you can go around and get referrals based on the fact that you've gotten paid (potential referrals love to see that kind of stuff). I just do horrible with getting referrals. So I figure..Forget it lol.

I am horrible at getting referrals too but have recently started a blog about my paying sites & I also put alot of my referral links in easyhits4u.

Hi maezee, No, you are not the only one feeling this way, I am another. I have decided to close several accounts after I reach the cash out amount. Some of the sites I don't even visit anymore. Getting in way over my head is no healthy and leaves me with no time for the real world. The profits are not worth the anxiety that comes along with them, because you have to jump from site to site trying to meet your quotta, if you will. I have never visited ChaCha, but the others,MyLot, Opinion Outpost, and Treasure Trooper, I am familiar with. Take care,

I know exactly how you feel. I have too many sites that I am on and some of them are just a waste of my time lately. I'm going to go through them all next week and narrow them down.

That makes sense. In my opinion, you'd better off concentrate working with what you enjoy the most.

I think your epiphany is the same conclusion big companies have arrived at. That it is much better to consolidate and concentrate on things (sites) that they like, and they are good at. It lessens the costs (efforts) and maximizes the earnings. Glad that you're going into this direction. Goodluck!

Nice point of view. I didn't think of it as being a business decision. But it makes the most sense to me. I don't put effort into getting referrals, and the referrals I have do nothing for me on most sites. So I might as well put all of my time & energy into sites that actually matter and get me payments, right?

I did not close out any of my accounts when I scaled down my sites. I simply went to each site that did not make the cut and opted out of getting their emails. My earnings are still sitting there, and I am still a member of every site. No doubt I will be kicked off a few for being inactive, but if it was worth my time I would be getting their emails!

It all whittles down to time and money. As you build sites that make money in less time you have to consider what your time is worth. That's what makes this fun!
