How to download the video on youtube.
There are many softwares available online. But I don’t want to buy if there is any alternate of free software. Do you know any software which I get for free to download the youtube or any other website videos.
I generally use the real player but the process is a bit cumbersome.

The new version of realplayer can do it already. If not there are other softwares that could do that trick as well.
Cheers.

You dont need a downloader program to save a video from you tube. Firefox can do that. Here to do:
1. Simply lets the video play till end.
2. open new tab on your firefox
3. Type "about:cache" without quotes at your address bar
4. You'll see information about your cache, find "cache directory" on "Disk cache device"
5. Open your Windows Explorer and go to cache directory (Ex. "C;\Documents and Settings\Admin|Local Settings|Aplication Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xyzabc.default\cache"
6. Sort your list according to file zise
7. For a video on youtube, usualy has 1 MB or more depend on how long and video quality. find it.
8. Simply rename it and add .flv as it's extention file
9. Play renamed file on your flv player.
Hope it's usefull and working

There are plenty of free utilities. I can't vouch for any of them but all you have to do is to type "download youtube videos free" into your favourite search engine (why not use MyLot ... you could earn a few cents reward!?)
Here is the first apparently workable one I found: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm
