Computer... But I don't agree about the laptop thingy... New generation of keyboards for PC are very comfortable too, and they make much less noise while you're typing.

Computer ismiles ahead of the typewriter, unless you need to get words onto a pre-designed form.

for sure, it's a computer...even a laptop is faster and faster than a pc cuz it's keyboard is way too comfortable

Computer is definately a good for all these things, but the speed can be more on typewriter too, depends on who writes, my mom writed faster than me on typewriter, I write on keyboard. The next generation is thinking and the machine will automatically write, waiting for that ;)
